Thank you for watching and for the positive feedback. I have been tinkering with various versions of this workflow for years trying to improve my efficiency in this daily part of Lightroom Classic. After much trial and error, this system of Smart Collections is the best way to speed up the culling process that I have found (so far...)

@@FocusPhotoSchool maybe a dumb question but when the process is complete, do you then “empty” the first collection Timon so that the process can be repeated with another shoot ?

@@AlanWade-gf4jh Indeed. Once you have finished sorting the current batch, you can remove everything from the drag-and-drop collection, what I call "00 To Be Sorted" and then you are ready to start again with another round of new images.

Hey man. Great video. Could you please go over how you made this collection workflow? Maybe make a video on that? I went through your channel and couldn't find the video on collections. I'm trying to make smart collections that do what yours do but it's turning out to be pretty difficult. Any help would be appreciated. I have 90k photos in lightroom and your workflow seems to be the asnwer.
