Festive Cranberry Salad -
Dissolve:
2 boxes of black cherry jello
2 1/2 c. sugar
in 3/4 c. hot water
Chop:
2 pkgs fresh cranberries and 1 large orange (peel and all!) in blender or food processor.
Mix:
Everything together in a large bowl, cover and chill.

I know this is personal but you have the same number of children as I do, so I’m curious. What is your grocery budget? Please don’t feel obligated to share with a stranger on the internet, just curious. And I guess too like part of the country you’re in. I watch a grocery channel and her milk is 2 dollars cheaper per gallon than here in Pa (where the middleman takes a large portion of the profit-from chatting with dairy farmers in our area)

I spend $300-400 a week, including paper products. Some weeks I can cut that down by $50-100 if I'm really careful and we eat more from the stockpile.

These videos are so helpful and motivating and encouraging! Thank you for taking the time to make and share them! I would love to be more "sale conscious" when I shop, but besides trying to shop the bulk of my groceries at Aldi, I am woefully ignorant of tracking best prices and am overwhelmed by the idea of making some sort of giant spreadsheet where I record item prices over a long period of time to anticipate the best times to purchase. Do you have any advice on this?
