There are tons and tons of Photoshop tutorials and contents on KZbin. But you are unmatched when it comes to pedagogy, thoroughness, and clarity. I'm constantly a part of "the 5% of the audience who reach the end of the video", and I'm happy I've always done so. I've learned so much thanks to you over the time!

I would second Ari Scott's comment. Your approach of flowcharting and adding hotlinks to more expansive tutorials on specific challenges is really excellent. This video is where everyone should start when leanring to mask hair.
@NeoNecrotik Жыл бұрын
To further elaborate on the channels method, after leveling you can also apply image by going to image > apply image. Leave the layer as merged, channel as the same channel you're working on, and blending as Multiply. This will increase contrast. You can then go into the channel and paint white/black with the brush tool using the Overlay mode.

YES! YES! YES! in your video at 5:07 where you click on 'select & mask' and then click on 'select subject', brother, Let tell you how long I been looking for this tutorial, since 2019. I been trying to select an aircraft carrier and un-destructively remove the ocean. today, 7/11/2022 I finally move forward! Thank you PiXimperfect

You are literally the best thing on youtube for photoshop. Unfortunately, I am staggeringly lacking in Ps skills. Ive been scanning around how to save the image back into lightroom without the fill layer and just the masking i was able to achieve. Ive tried a dozen other videos and they all assume you know how to finish file saving part . Just want to maintain the background and the hair removal i got from using Object selection tool. Sounds simple enough, however I am a step by step person with bad ADD.
