Master Lee has re-established White Crane Martial Arts School in Hong Kong, this is a blessing for Hong Kong community. As a fourth generation Oversea Chinese of Hokkien origin, really glad and happy to see that the lineage is surviving and may it lasts long.😊💪

@13:31, so true! Sensei Jesse Enkamp has mentioned this - that White Crane kung fu may have been the “mother” of Okinawan karate. Now Sifu Lee is saying it - the influence of White Crane kung fu on Okinawan karate’s development and evolution. Wow, this is a big revelation to me. Thank you Sifu Lee and Sensei Enkamp for educating me.

It was actually written about long before Emkamp jumped on the band wagon.

At 15:06 I see the elements of Pan Gai Noon, which became Okinawan Uechi Ryu karate.
@ambulocetusnatans Жыл бұрын
Yes, it does look similar. Uechi Ryu is probably the closest Karate to the ancestral Chinese style. I really like the way they do Seisan Kata.

@PaMuShinthere is only white crane in karate. Karatekas don't know anything about the rest of Shaolin.

Great vid....most ancient of the Kung Fu...I studied White Crane and Northern Mantis...Incorporating moves and Dim Mak. Crane wing strike to the side of neck..pressure point...most devastating.

Dim mak is fake Kung fu made by a ginger dude with an Afro.

Such a humble and knowledgable Master, proud to have him share his knowledge with me when I am in HK, great Docu with my very skillful WC Brothers Albert and Robert Law

These RIDICULOUS forms are completely useless in a real fight. Kung Fu is bullshido and a scam. Don't believe me? Go to 'any' full contact competition and every Kung Fu guy ends up fighting like a kick boxer.

Great video,very nice!Would be nice if you would explain the connection between White Crane and WING CHUN, since we seem to know that Wing Chun is basically "snake and crane"and I saw wooden dummies in the background, the same we use in WC and JKD,would be nice to see your MUK YAN CHONG-form !!!

I would also like to see the White Crane version of the wooden dummy. As you probably noticed, the names Yong Chun and Wing Chun are written with very similar characters. The story that I heard is that Wing Chun is a simplified blend of White Crane with power generation and breath-work of snake style from Emei mountain. I don't know if it's true, but it seems more plausible than the origin story that is commonly told.

私以为鹤法这个名字其实是更为贴切的。以鹤劲入诸拳,则诸拳可化鹤;以三战为平台,则鹤可衍诸拳。
