Get the busts as well if you haven't already! You can swap the heads for a more detailed and proportional look and they come with additional accessories. For example Omega gets the train tracks and cables for the arms and Metroplex gets his shoulder cannons.

I have that one, its quite cool, the proportional head comes with its own chest piece that you can use as a bust/statue, but the head comes off, and can be mounted in place of the SD head to work really well on this figure, you still have somewhat oversized arms and legs, but that works pretty darn well for a "Huge" robot like Omega is supposed to be.

Thanks for reviewing this lil guy Emgo, you sounded just as giddy as I was when I picked up the Diabolus Rex with my son. These Master Made figures took me back to my G1 days (almost 40 years old now......ALMOST) that I have sorely missed, the combination of metal and plastic just feels right! Not that you ever want to injure someone with a heavy toy, BUT "it's a thing you can do" ;-) My son and I hope you review all the figures in this line as you add the flare and enjoyment we all feel with our beloved "buff baby" Transformers. Keep up the great reviews brother, love from Canada.

I'm only about 10 minutes in (will have to watch the rest later) so maybe you will address it later, but the single best thing about Apollo in my opinion is the sheer number of different "fan mode" ideas I've seen people post pictures of. Just SO MANY OPTIONS!

Have you gotten the set of tiny Decepticons they released on its own not so long ago? If not look up Master Made Palm Warriors. They're cute as hell, and all new molds except for the mini-Megs that comes also with their Trypticon.

emgo316. How much did this guy cost you? I am actually wanting to put this on my wish list of toys/figures I want to acquire. Personally, I don't mind the Visible Head Syndrome or the "Parts-forming" at all. I love your reviews and love the fun skits you do. Also, I love how your little Mascot is a Bionicle Strontius(?) without the hunched back/neck and both major Cybertronian faction logos. I hope you have an absolutely awesome at and that you have the best of luck in future endeavors. In terms of imagining the transformation as an epic scene, the partsforming actually, IMO, makes the transformation cooler due to each segment being cool on their own but are best when combined to make the complete whole. Love your vids and give my best to your cats and anyone who lives with you as a friendly hello of sorts from a fan.

Yes it has that odd ratio side but i will say i am super impressed with who or whom all help design it..... that would be someone i would want on the official Hasbro team making toys because well Design and tolerances are thought thru (minus a thumb). Official part shell forms then becomes something like legs and or such this makes use off all the bits. Beast wars did spoil us abit because we go joints and poses out the rear and everything had a place in all modes some odd but nothing like POTP Starscream combiner feet hanging off the wings.
