If you understand MASTER OF DISGUISE as a biting satire of how terrible Mike Myers' films are, it is genuinely goddamned hilarious. Whether that is true or not is immaterial, it is the lens through which to understand it in a manner that brings joy.

There are a great host of terrible movies consigned to eventual oblivion as generations let them rot to dust. Master of Disguise should remain there.

i watched master of disguise a few times as a kid and loved it so much. this makes me want to go back and rewatch it and see if its still funny to me, good god

Sad reality, they most likely weren't mid-filming when the towers were hit. Film was still in preproduction, and it wouldve been like, 5am. That said. There WAS a moment of silence on set a few weeks later. And Carvey was absolutely in full turtle costume.
