When starting to listen to this, I was thinking, how the hell do they get Home Alone 2 from rock climbing. Then I listened to it. Of course they find a way

I climbed a lot from 2018 to 2020 and I've never heard of tipping a belayer, but my main gym was bouldering only and a friend belayed any time I needed it, so I guess it's just something I never had to engage with.

I'm almost certain that whoever sent this in got pranked by co-workers or just works in an affluent area 😂😂 Sounds scummy to tip someone for keeping you safe as "a custom".

you could say the same thing about waiters and taxi drivers though. i mean really, tips shouldnt be a mandatory thing, those workers should just paid enough from the start. but thats not how things currently work, unfortunately
