I am a METALLICA fan. I am 55 and saw the whole evolution of the band real time. And I have to say, as your version opened I listened.. and all the hairs on my arms and neck stood on end.. SHOCKING. LILIAC is the REAL DEAL. and you all are so YOUNG.. so polished and SKILLED in your craft. GOOSEBUMPS DONT LIE! 🤣🤣 THE LEAD VOCALS ARE LIKE NO ONE ELSE! even though a cover, it stands on its own as yours. LILIAC'S fingerprint really does make you RETHINK what you know about this song! The brilliant lyrics show differently.. I would say better articulated actually. The lyrics being a bit clearer will allow new listeners to share in the brilliance of this piece... it's been a long time since I was truly impressed by a cover. Master of Puppets is a big one to take on, it takes a lot of BALLS to do it which shows guts 😉!!! Ambitious for SURE , but in this old rocker chick's opinion, this version KNOCKS IT OUT OF THE PARK.
