When I first watched this video like 3-4 years ago I was very skeptical because this song is like the holy grail to amateur metal head musicians. When Metallica released this song it was like no other. I was not able to truly appreciate and understand it until I had a few years playing guitar and studying music myself. This is what set Metallica apart from the rest because they as a metal band had written a modern day equivalent of a classical symphony piece in regards to the musical complexity and ingenuity. The musical arrangement of master of puppets is like reading a story. The ups and down of crescendos, the changes in tempo, the bridge interlude that flows into a synchronized dual guitar solo then separates into a mind blowing singular solo ( that truly separates the men from the boys as far as ability), then all come back together for a over the top finale to end the song. So ya, there was a lot of initial skepticism not only with him attempting this song with an. acoustic but doing a full on new arrangement.... Marcin blew my mind with his version and he perfectly mirrored the musical story and complexity. This is arrangement is what set Marcin apart from all other acoustic guitar players in my book. The kid has unbelievable God given talent....

Zawsze kiedy słucham tego Gościa, łzy ciekną mi po policzkach. Akcenty, frażeloty, synkopy i jeszcze do tego ta rytmika. Myślę, że Pan Marcin mógł by spokojnie z Paganinim wspólnie dyskutować o wyższości gitary nad skrzypcami. Mamy ewidentnie nowego Chopina. Chciał bym kiedyś z Tobą zagrać Mistrzu. JP2 przy tym to jest cieć. Nie ujmując stróżom.

Sam kiedyś trochę grałem więc doceniam raczej jestem pod ogromnym wrażeniem jego możliwości i zarazem serca jakie w to wszystko wkłada. Racja to Chopin, Mozart, Bethoven Hendrix i nie wiem jeszcze kto w jednej osobie. Wielki, wielki szacunek. Pozdrawiam.

He was a child prodigy on classical guitar, playing the most difficult pieces at age 12. Felt constrained by the classical style, switched to steel string and the rest is history. Without a doubt, the very best finger style guitarist today.

Hi D, Thx for Ur reaction, and as usual U makes me ROTF LOL. I've never seen anyone play acoustic guitar like Marcin do, in my life! and I'm talkin' more than 50 years of life. Marcin is acoustic guitar Maestro, Marcin shows us what we can do with an acoustic guitar other than those 6 strings, Marcin shows us the whole acoustic guitar body can makes a lot of different sounds to make music. And for that it's only very fair to call Marcin a legend, acoustic guitar Maestro.
