This is really good, just downloaded my trial, and going to explore for a few days, but I think I'm just about ready to switch from Lightroom. Thanks for making what seems to be a great product at a great price!

Hello I’m a new subscriber & new amateur photographer. I been getting much better at learning my way around camera… but I have zero idea on what to do or how to “edit raw photos”. Very glad to see you all have tutorials.

Will this open CR3 RAW files from Canon? (ON1 2023 RAW does not) Also, if I buy the ON1 RAW 2024, it has this built in, right?

A very good idea. What would be a good follow up of sorts would be how to reverse / undo mistakes in presets and editing without say the use of snapshots. I find ON1 one of the hardest programs to undo things compared to other programs I have tried where there is a single undo command for just about everything and you just go back one step at a time what ever you have done / performed.
@ON1Photo Жыл бұрын
The Undo command should only reverse the last step/edit. Resetting panes or images are more global reversals. If you only need to go back one step at a time, use the Undo option and not reset. Also, the Undo only works within one editing session. Snapshots can work if you leave the image and go back to browse and then have to reopen the image. The Undo in that case wouldn't Undo anything. I hope that helps

I have a raw file from a Sony A7iii (ARW). I did some editing in Topaz Denoise and saved as a DNG file. For some reason when I try to open that DNG in ON1 RAW, it shows me the image in the thumbnail, but when I double click i just get this giant thumbnail of a person with a line through it. Any ideas on that one?
@ON1Photo Жыл бұрын
Thats a good question. It might be having trouble viewing the DNG because there are editing settings done in Topaz. Thats probably the case, does the DNG file open without any adjustments made in Topaz?

wow ... thx for that overview ... looks like a great substitude for LR ... i´m about to switch from Intel to AppleSilicon, and don´t want an Abo for LR, was happy with LR5.7 but these days are over.

I have the ON1 2020 version and haven’t used it. I found the guys doing the tutorials were really annoying especially their voice, goofy grins absolutely terrible. You though are the best so far and I enjoyed this video. Would the 2023 be much different than the 2020 version ? Please do more videos. Thankyou
