After becoming a parent, I wanted something creative and flexible to do during nap time. Hi Mandy, thank you for a lovely video. This process seems a bit different than what I remember (about a year ago). Am I understanding that I create the designs with the variations (shirt/colors etc I want to use) then turn on personalization on Printify side. A customer comes in and orders. I go back to my original design/edit/save and upload the "new" name. Yours showed a white shirt and other colors you didn't originally pick but you said it doesn't matter so I just put the new edit/adjust spacing and click approve and it will automatically attach it to the correct size and color that the customer ordered? I hope that is what you are saying because that sounds so much easier than it was lol :D

@@stacyosborn4537 The old way was to remove SKUs and the orders would go to the “Other Orders” tab. The new way is to use the process shown in this video 😊

I agree that customization/personalization is the route to go. I've seen so many videos on Printify, but if Printify doesn't offer a complimentary product from one of their suppliers, to one that they do currently offer, how do you source that second product? Do you obtain both products directly through the Printer and if so I'd be interested in learning how you go about doing so from the creation process to listing and order fulfillment. Thanks Mandy.

Mandy, thank you so much for your videos! They’re really helpful. I’m a little confused about adding the brand names of those products in the description, tags, title etc. In this case, I saw the name Comfort Colors in the description, will that also be considered infringement of the trademark? I used to add those names, including Gildan 18000 and Bela Canvas as well. After watching many videos, I removed those names bc I checked the trademark website and those names were there. What are your thoughts about including those names in the description and tags? Will it be ok?

Do we have to go back and change all our personalized listings to this new way. I had an order last night that I had done the old delete the SKU numbers way and it never showed up in printify today so I had to manually create the order.

Hi Mandy, Newbie here. I have added a personalised listing in printify that then synics to Etsy, i published it. My question is do i need to delete the listing from Pritify and redo in Printify and save as a draft? Not sure how to fix up, thanks in advance for any help

Do you find using the same tags and similar title for all your products within the same niche, helpful? Or would you prefer AB testing first to find winning key words

Is it important to change the character limit? I saw that you left it at the preset amount but shouldn’t I make sure to set that to the maximum character that would still make the image and design look nice

All of the personalization that I do is based on names, locations, or dates - so I'm not worried about it as an issue. Every once in awhile I might need to make minor adjustments on the design to accommodate a longer name, but generally I take on that adjustment instead of putting limitations on the customer that might deter them. If your designs will only work for a particular length then you can definitely adjust it if needed though 😊

No - customers are notorious for not responding right away (or at all), so I intentionally keep the personalization simple so that I don’t have to chase anybody down 😊
