It is good there are no gaps around the window. To ensure good energy efficiency for the building, RTV silicone sealant should be applied to seal around the window. I am not sure if this is a common practice in Ghana. What is normally done to minimize infiltration from around the window and door frame?

Great video. Twyford is a great company. They have good stuff. I bought my tiles and toilet bowls and sinks from them. Three years on and they are still looking great.

Hi you natural sunlight flowing through but no provisions for free airflow due to the windows. Also I noticed no direct door from the kitchen outside for roasting smelly fish as you put it. Was this an oversight?

There is plenty of airflow. We are at high altitude compared to others. Very airy and even a bit cold in the evenings believe it or not. Just rains too much Not really, we are happy with the layout

your last endpoint on the electricity should be from the solar ie batteries, generator, and electrical provider should just charge back your battery storage that way your kw/h will be low on the provider side. Also, what is the boy's quarters? Can you do a video if possible about burglar bars on the outside that can be open from inside in case of emergency, with tempered glass windows Can you explain why most kitchens are inclosed and why no wet rooms have exhaust fans?

@@blackmac500 - Not a must. Food and Water is a MUST. Depends on where you live in the country. The costs are outrageous for many people. Watch our video on solar panels kzbin.info/www/bejne/oaK9ga2shN-DfM0 Even if we decide to get it, we will use it only for lighting, fridges/freezers so will be a very small system, probably 2.5kW or so. But definitely NOT a must for us.
