Before now I have struggle very hard to differentiate the present continuous tense from the simple present tense in Arabic, after watching this video the concept is now very clear to me. Jazakillahu khayran, I really appreciate.

Master Abassia, you are simply a WONDERFUL teacher! Keep up your MARVELLOUS work! I always wanted to learn arabic, but here in Brazil the resources to learn the language are practically non-existent, and your KZbin work is a treasure chest! Thanks a lot infinite times! May God bless you with all his unfathomable graces!

@@LearnArabicWithAbbassia Dear Master, I am still absorbing your rich content, but I feel that more about verbs and syntactic structures (types of sentences, the way that arabic structures are different and express the same ideas) would shorten the gap that we feel between arabic and european languages. This video about structure (explaining the masdar forms and the way they can be used to express the progressive) is a GEM!

You can say : I drink coffee or doer but with the verb to drink it just doest not sound right so use the verb because it may confuse other people thinking that you are drunk !

which is form 1? darasa, or daarisa or the ing form of the verb. I assumed that form 1 would be the basic 3 letter root and when you add the alif that would be form 2 and when you get to the ing form that would be form 3....that is the part that is not clear for me....thanks so much
