▬ ABOUT THIS VIDEO ▬
Master's Degree In Finance - 4 Affordable Alternatives (Must Watch). In this video, John from the Test Prep Insight team covers four education alternatives that are much cheaper than getting a full masters degree in finance. These alternatives include micromasters and professional certificate programs from top rated universities and colleges. Often times, these types of programs are a better fit for certain people given the high cost of earning a full-fledged master of finance degree. In some cases, a full master's in finance program can cost well over $100-200k after factoring in tuition, secondary expenses and opportunity cost. These micromasters and certificate programs, on the other hand, are much more affordable and give you the opportunity to learn valuable skills. For example, MIT offers a micromasters in finance for a fraction of the cost their full master of finance program from the Sloan School of Management. Thanks for watching this master's degree alternatives guide. Hopefully it helps you figure out whether getting a master's degree in finance is worth it for you personally.

Great video, exposure, and insight. Glad you made this video. I liked the MIT MicroMasters program the most. The brand name and cost are gems compared to a full degree, plus the credits will count towards the full program too. Thank you

Hey @Test Prep Insight I’m a high school construction teacher with a background in architecture that’s fascinated with the idea of investing and developing real estate. After having to fully financially support my mother after her disability I learned that I desired to have greater financial freedom, but I absolutely couldn’t forsake my pay check and go two years without earning a descent salary. With my time off as a teacher, a lighter, weekly, work load, an Ivy league name associated to it and a program that’s focused on practical skills along with a nice price tag, the Columbia University Corporate program best matches my desired lifestyle in attaining my dreams. Thank you so much for providing a great video that has truly helped me in taking an alternative approach!

The Maryland program seems like a good option. Affordable weekly time commitment and broader coverage did it for me. I haven't looked into master program yet so my thought process might not be accurate. I reckon the broader focus will leave you with more options to choose which Master program to advance with at a later time
