Taught my Wife how to use the VMC crossover and tool. She landed an absolute hawg. A nearly 5 pound largemouth. This was on only her 2nd day bass fishing, 2nd day fishing from her Bonafide RS117 kayak. She is now hooked on bass fishing and kayak fishing!!!! Life is good!!

I bit the bullet and bought the $20+ Arsenal tool a few years ago. I put my hook through the worm AND the shield/sleeve. It seems the best of all the methods.

Excellent presentation Mike. I’ve been using this technique since your previous presentation of the this technique. I don’t understand how other KZbinrs who claim to be professional anglers down play this product. Thank you for your insight to the best techniques!😊

Hey Mike, I tried those crossover rings and the correct size, and because the baits have that oily coating on them, the fish were pulling them out leaving me with a hook and a ring.

Because you didn't say "teat".

Putting the hook in the crossover ring is easy, but how do you remove the hook without destroying the ring?

I already skip Io's vids because of it, and sure buff, as soon as he said, "First things first", I knew I was in for another 2 steps forward 3 steps back 16minutes to give you 2 minutes of information, video. That's where I bailed.

The rings are great but the video is way too long for such a simple gadget. Sorry for the critique on this, I still love your other videos.

That tool isn't "really cheap", it's $21 cad! You can buy eclip pliers much cheaper, they're about the same thing. Regarding the video, it's presented like an infomercial. I found it annoying to listen to, I definitely will not subscribe.
