Alex, probably many other listeners besides me are curious what books you would recommend. Watching you on YT, I strain my eyes to read the titles of the books behind you on the shelf, but I'm not very successful. The only book I already read because you mentioned it or its author many times is "The Autobiography of a Yogi" by Paramahansa Jogananda. Could you do an episode where you would briefly discuss each of the recommended books? Or at least would you make a list of the books that have had a beneficial influence on you, starting with the most interesting ones. I bet "Autobiography of a Yogi" will be at the top of the list. Thank you for everything, sending you lots of love 💕

Beautiful. I’m currently dealing with stress induced Bell’s Palsy. Going to implement this breathing technique in hopes to speed up my recovery.
Makes me think about Shri Yuketseswar striking Yogananda in the chest and all the breath went out of him and he changed his energy source for the time he travelled to different realms with his Guru. Pranayama is so deep. Read “Light on Pranayama” By B.K.S. Iyengar

You need to get Master Chunyi Lin on the show -- I learned Spring Forest Qigong from him back in 2006, and it's actually being taken seriously by Harvard and the Mayo Clinic, because even though it involves connecting to higher energies and other things that they can't measure, the results are so shocking that they have to admit that SOMETHING is happening (statistically better than placebo). When I started practicing his healing techniques on other people, I began randomly experiencing weird forms of telepathy and more powerful out-of-body experiences, and felt some pretty wild things at some of his retreats (one of the more curious ones is the spontaneous manifestation of some kind of heavenly fragrance that I can't describe, but it's so powerful that I can't do anything but cry my eyes out in gratitude every time I experience it). I've made it up through Level 4 of his class, and he now teaches a Level 5 that has something to do with OBEs / spirit travel... But at this point I can't really afford to go check that one out. :/

Once I tried to start slow and gain momentum, then I was able to do this. This is one of your best interviews. I have been on a journey of self discovery for years, and I strongly believe in taking responsibility for ones own health. I have toyed with breathing techniques in the past but Mr. Naik refocused my attention on it. I was able to lower my heart rate by hearing from him how it was done, not to the level that he achieved during the discussion but that probably takes practice. Thank you for the videos, they are very interesting.

Interesting people have to learn to do this. Makes singing easier for sure as I can hold very long notes. Then again I was 45 when I learned most people don't control their dreams (lucid dreaming). When Mr. Naik was talking about Egos we have I understand that very well. One of the best things in my life this past year is I don't have to accept my and others Monkey Mind thoughts, words, and actions. I'm very much Vata rather than Pitta as most everyday I'm pretty well submerged in very warm water for about fifteen minutes. My brother does cold showers which I've never tried. I might like it.

Powerful Interview! Everything is inside of us. Answers to the universe, answers to our most profound questions, and the ability to heal ourselves. Look for the teachings that expand your consciousness to tap back into your own power and abilities. Don't look to worship others. We are all fractals of the Divine Source that is all that is, which makes us divine ourselves. We are all on the journey to remembering this.

I was waiting for a medical procedure last year with all the heart rate and breathing monitoring hooked up. I started to pray for a positive out come. All of a sudden the the medical team looks at me like they expected me to be passed out. They checked the equipment, reattached everything and they still looked a bit incredulous. I'm not even a habitual meditator. This is very interesting to me and I'll be looking into this.
