I tried this as well but the authenticity, and purity of Wim still shines through for me and have found best results with his voice in my ears .. tried so many others but still go back to Wim as I feel his true spirit. His enthusiasm and support for everyone and you can choose to do it with nasal breathing ..... He never puts others down ..and there is never a feeling of judgement from anything I have watched of Wim.. Always feel into what suits and rings true for you!! Blessings

I embarked on the Soma Breath Master Instructor/Transformational Coaching journey last year and it has been life changing! I had also done some Wim Hof techniques prior to discovering Soma, but I LOVE the depth of explanation of the science with Soma training and being a yoga instructor already, the spiritual and philosophical side is an added bonus!! Thank you for this in-depth conversation! 🙏🏻💚🌎

Very nice! You don't HAVE to breathe through your mouth with Wim Hof's breathing version!!! I breathe in through the nose and out through my mouth or nose and it still works!

I was glad to hear him talk of the soul crushing things that have been happening world wide the last two years. The great re awakening. Breath work will help with the stress and isolation, as well as the virus. Wonderful work. Keep on getting this out there!

Super interesting interview, thanks both of you. I can witness that since I'm doing 40 mn breathing exercises per day, I don't need anymore glasses to read at night... and that's only one part of the changes breaths brought me. Combine with Qi gong, healthy food, .... no more illness, just zero ;)

Thanks very much for podcast and information. I think the core problem is our deep rooted conditioning and negative self talk plays a major contributing to our mental health. Hope on a tightrope...😂

Love this, however i do have one small thing to correct, that i see repeated in many places. AUM; the “A” is the first letter of the Sanskrit alphabet. It’s pronounced “uh” not “ahh”. The first letter is “a” not “ā”. Different sounds. You can verify this yourself by referring to a fluent Sanskrit speaker, or by putting the a (uh) and u (ooo) together. They should make an “oh” sound as in OM. An “ahh” and “ooo” do not make an “ohh” sound together.

How does SOMA breathing compare to Buteyko? Most practitioners of slow breathing and even coherent or resonant breathing, suggest inhaling and exhaling through your NOSE only. Why do you suggest exhaling through your MOUTH?
@lifeisagift56274 жыл бұрын
It wasn't mentioned the danger of doing these type of exercises before 4 hours from a meal, 2 hours and a half from fruit snacks, 1 hour and a half from juices, tea, coffee or cigarettes, 8 hours from alcoholic drinks.

Dangerous situation can occure nearly everywhere. Be aware kundalini energy could arise so strong some people couldn't handle it. But for most of the people the benefits are too strong. No rist No Fun;-)

@@shantinaturechild6385 I care because he is selling a breathing method that he claims to have many health benefits. If he is stressed out it is hard to trust his words

True observation, but maybe he has a stressful life, trying to make a living from what he is teaching. Maybe he doesn't feel comfortable being in that position, or speaking directly, or maybe he did not sleep well, or many other causes, but sure he is not a dishonest person for any reason I can sense.

Sometimes when I am tired I feel I don't want to talk to anyone and to be left alone. But sometimes I feel forced to do things, and yes, I feel not at ease, but that doesn't mean I am a dishonest person.
