I specifically remember playing this for almost 6 hours straight when I stayed home sick from Grade School one day. I never had an NES and I loved "1943" on that console. When I got this I was amazed. Great underrated SMS game.

This is a Sega Master System game. You don’t put quarters in a Sega Master System. And the arcade game you are thinking of is one of the 19XX games by Capcom.

@@classickid2185 No I played Bomber Raid sir. Not sure how they did it but they actually had the arcade game in the Union/Gameroom. I also know about the 19XX games as well. I attended GSU 96'-00'

Deputy Sheriff Maybe they used some sort of hardware like the Mega-Tech (an arcade Genesis/Master System board by Sega), but i don’t think this was made on Mega Tech.

This game was NICE. It was not so hard to complete as R-Type(harrrd) or Power Strike (virtually impossible) The secret to finish Bomber Raid is DON'T DIE after level 2. If you do, just start from the begin.

Oh my God I jumped on my chair at every power up I never thought there will be so many for firing!! I played so much this game as a kid and I think we reached 30% of shooting power at best... Good old times.

I had this game when I was a kid. I find this a lot better than 1943. The games that were really great on the master system had better graphics than the Nes games.

i liked this game too. it was hard to get powerups in beginning of first level because of the slow rate of fire (in my opinion)

The back of the box claimed "dazzling 3D graphics". I don't know if it's was psychological or what because of what the box claimed, but it does tend to have a bit of a stereoscopic effect to me.

so there's an invincibility code for this game? i was really good at it but could never beat all of lvl 5. it sure looked like a bunch of times at least your helper planes shouldve been killed but they didn't. so I never knew there was a code for this game.
