40:00 I don't usually condone ridiculing someone that's mana screwed, but the emote spam and roping made it more acceptable. Countering their mana source and reducing their card draw by one really did them in. Which proves it was the optimal play. Sometimes being evil is the best way to be :)

I’ve never experienced he’ll queue. I built the uncommon kiora earlier today, and all I got matched up against were kinnans and Esikas and teferis. I never knew historic brawl was so powerful

Ill tell you right now I prefer A LOT hell queue to other tiers because so far my matchups are many, I even got paired against tasha. Whereas, f whener I play decks such as Jodah (Archmage) or Evelyn, I meet Urza, and its like, I appreciate the commander and the decks, but OH fuck I played against at least 15 guys like you in 2 days! OUT OF 15 GAMES

Love the hell queue domination, but wonder why my casual non optimized (aka non crafted)midrange haktos and zur builds match like 80% against these commanders, kinnan, teferi, uro, all super common, and super optimized combo decks too, like oswald, jhoira, etc... my decklists are C tier so i dont get wizards matchmaking algo in historic, standard queue seems way more balanced. That Said, would be very curious to see a CGB build of Zur in brawl.

Counterspells are kind of nerfed in Brawl, because people can play their commander over and over again. So you need to have counterspells combined with card draw, and a way to finish the game. That's why I think the 2 mana Spells cots 1 less guy isn't a very good commander. It's mostly counterspells which runs into issues.

Baral isn't just counterspells. Well, almost. But he also makes other spells cheaper, and that includes a lot of good card draw too. And he also provides card selection. In the end, it's the full package that makes it so annoying

Thing that annoys me since I started playing magic in 2012, starting with LEGACY! Is the anger from none skilled players vs skilled players. Even videos games are like this. None skill players never take the time to get good, but play a game that has players that practice getting better. At the end of the day, call of duty, magic even UNO have a common thing! WIN! Winning is fun, and for those that don't think so are usually handed wins to keep them playing. Have had many locals at FNM get mad quit because they kept losing. Like grow up.

Am I the only one who thinks patriarch’s humiliation shouldn’t be legal in brawl? Like I don’t mind an enchantment that takes abilities away but just never being able to utilize your commander for the entire game because the opponent played a 1 white mana spell seems kind of dumb.

The humiliation can be cleared from the commander by sending it back to the command zone. When it goes you'll be given the option to clear persistent effects
