Have recently been struggling with the fact that I don’t really think I’m a “confident player”. I don’t often take the initiative in a 1v1 and even if I can move to avoid the tackle I usually end up passing first. Hearing you explain it all so clearly and in such a helpful manner is doing wonders with respect to how I aim to approach these situations 👍
@2oddlers3 күн бұрын
I'm glad it helped. You just need your body to get used to the movements and how it works against players, that's why even playing against low level players is the best place to train it. If you have a place to play casual games, or street football, it will really help you master skills. Once you get it consistently against low level players, it's not that big of a jump to try it against better players.

I am so glad I found this channel... u don't make it seem easy, u make it easy for us and that I am so thankful to you for. I love your sense of humour though, it's positive and cheeky 😄. Personally I am a defender and an attacker. In defending I like to fake my approach to the incoming attacker so he assumes I am going to give a tackle and make him do his exit but I hold back and wait until he does something. As an attacker my pace is incredibly good, everybody says I run past like a rocket but my dribbling skills only include a chip, and that doesn't do very well much often. I was looking for some dribbling tutorial and yours is the one of the best if not THE BEST I have found out there. Thanks a lot and thanks to you I'm going to be able to play as a good attacker as well now.

I'm not going to lie. This is a very great video and it is mostly focuses on efficiency and actions. I'm still very new, I'm currently going on my fifth match in a coaching session. I really want to say thank you for the tutorial. Cause Whenever I play soccer, I see the goal, and my teammates but since I'm still new, my skills aren't there yet for me to get past them or to actually keep up with my thinking and brain. I really want to say thank you for this video as it really helps with the foundation and the basics of soccer. Sometimes I really do wonder if it's possible to even go pro, I hope you see this message but this is a question I wanna ask. I'm 17 and just starting soccer, I have a good body as I normally do calisthenics and body building and coaches and experience players tells me that I play good and were shocked that I was just even starting. I wonder if it's possible to go pro here in the Philippines. welp thank you very much and I hope you see this message, God bless you and in jesus name amen.
@2oddlers51 минут бұрын
Thanks bro. I'm glad it was helpful to you. You can do it, you just have to work hard, and it mainly depends on the competition. Most people don't actually put in the effort or realize how much effort pros put in. On average a pro does 4 hours of individual training, along with team training. So even kids who started at a young age don't actually have enough hours under their belt. For example, a kid who started playing at 5 who only 4 hours a week , by the time he's 17 he would have only around 2304 hours under his belt. If you train 4 hours a day consistently for 3 years, you'll already be at 4032 hours. So not taking experience into consideration, with 4 hours a day you could surpass the guy who started at 5 years old within 3 years. So you can do it, but you need to put in the work bro.

What happens is the brexit defenders rush over me and after the winning the 1v1 these boss types appear like rin itoshi and block me and also after winning against the boss types bunch of cones type appear and block me outta nowhere I hv no idea abt what to do. It will be really helpfull if u say what i should do after winning a 1v1
@2oddlersКүн бұрын
Okay so you got the first part right if you can win the 1 v 1s. Practice looking up while dribbling. That way you'll have awareness of all the players around, so you can take on more than one. Check towards the end of the video I talk about this. The second thing you can do is practice by running and dribbling imaginary opponents. Do multiple skills right after one another. So glide, do some cuts, then straight away feints and other skills. It will build your stamina and ability to beat more players

Does anyone have any tips to lock in, I always lose focus and only instinct goes, my instinct is not trained enough for dribble moves so I never do them, any tips to think on the field than just instinct
@2oddlersКүн бұрын
You first have to do it consciously when you're learning. Then you get to a point where the skill becomes second nature to you, so you don't have to think about technique. You can pull it off on demand every time. That's when nature kicks in. Think about if you had to dodge a sudden on coming person running into you. If you didn't know how to walk or jump, you wouldn't be able to dodge, because you'd be thinking about what to do with your legs. But since walking is second nature, you can move away without thinking. That's instinct. Similarly, your skills have to be so honed in that you don't worry about technique at all. You just let your body react and let the moves flow out.
