The thing that no one mentions that is CRUCIAL: use light pressure when scraping and stamping! It will not work no matter what you do otherwise. You also don’t need stamping polish. Not all polish will work, but a lot will.

Instead of applying acetone directly to the skin, which can be drying, especially after repeated use - instead apply a barrier cream, gel, solution, or latex to the area in advance. This will prevent (or at least minimise) transfer of the stamp to the skin, and many can be easily and gently peeled off without any discomfort. Just make sure you're following your MSM and contraindication checks for compliance, and to choose the correct one for your client.

I see a lot of rectangle stamping plates like the one you're using. I have round ones and they don't work as like the ones I see on KZbin. Is one better than the other?

Good question! You can stamp on top of your completed gel manicure. However, you can't use gel polish as the stamping polish. Gel polish does not transfer to the stamper correctly. You can use regular stamping polish to stamp. After you are done stamping, just topcoat with your usual gel top coat and cure a final time.

This channel is from a estore selling the plates and accessories. They seem to be very good. Look for the links in the description. The amazon ones aren't bad. The plates aren't that much of a problem but the stamps and polish. Also, I think this has more variety. Maybe you should try cheaper first until you learn, and then buy this ones? I bought a regular one years ago and I never managed, heh. Good luck!

I'm telling you right now. BMC is the best stamping polish you ever use. I was recommended konad, I received it and it wasn't opaque and it was just terrible. I ordered BMC creative polish and I love it. Its just a shame I have to change stamping polishes due to not being able to ship to Australia.

Hello! That's a great question. The nail stamping polish we provide has a special formula specific to this type of nail art. If you cannot access nail stamping polish, it's possible to stamp with regular polish. However we recommend using regular nail polish that has a thick consistency. You'll find that regular nail polish tends to be on the thinner consistency side which means the polish will dry faster between the steps of nail stamping; therefore, transferring the nail design from plate to stamper, or stamper to the nail will be difficult.

I know nail stampers should be come with the kit but what happens when the stampers do not work? I've bought two different stamping kits and the stampers themselves refuse to pickup the polish, not even a smudge! Maybe I'm missing something? Or does it have to do with the polish brand? I use Sally Hansen Insta-Dry which I've read is recommended and I've even cleaned the stamper with warm water, so what am I doing wrong?

It depends on what type of stamper you have. With a clear stamper, you should use minimum pressure and just roll quickly and lightly.

+KrafteezNails The stamper used in the video looks like their Round XL Silicone Nail Stamper, which is not as large as the size of the Creative Stamper. If it is the XL stamper, the size is 2.8cm, which is closer to the MoYou London XL Double Sided stamper/scraper set at 2.4cm. The Creative Stamper size is 3.6cm. :-)

+Dominique Kaufman Make sure you are using a stamping polish which will give you better results in stamping. Also, you need to move quickly to pick up the image and then stamp on the nail. If you wait too long in between, the polish might dry in between and won't transfer properly.

You may have to test out the different brands that you have. They may not be pigmented enough to be used for stamping. We highly recommend Stamping Polishes as they are more thicker and pigmented to be used with stamping plates. +Anureet Arora You should clean your stamping plate with pure acetone. Nail polish removers sometimes contain moisturizers that might make the plate a little too greasy to get a clean crisp image.
