No gimmicks, just a humble man teaching you the best he knows how. Brilliant tutorial. Subbed. ✌🎶

I can't believe you are the first person to show strumming with the round side of the pick - it's so obvious somehow and brilliant, but I didn't even think of it and none of the other training videos out there seem to ever mention it. Plus that E chord strumming at the end was just superb!

I see your point. I remember when about more than 20 years ago a friend of mine told me to strum with the round side of the pick. My whole life has changed for the better since that very day 😁

After struggling to make progress on the guitar, particularly with strumming, this video was like an epiphany moment for me. My biggest problem was keeping control of the pick and getting an even sound when striking the strings. Turning the pick so that the side strikes the strings has made all the difference, the plectrum glides effortlessly across the strings so no more losing my grip as the pick doesn't dig in any more. THANK YOU!

Yeah, it's all about strumming with the side of the pick. Weird how very very few teachers focus on that.

This is how teachers should teach! I feel the fundamentals gets overlooked in favour of popularity and impatience. I told my teacher I want to learn music theory and fundamental technique. I understand why he only gives my songs and isolated ditties to learn; sure I’m learning, but I need balance to that learning too. IE explanation and technique. I feel like I’m having to take a step backwards instead of constantly moving forward! Thanks for teaching. I’m learning to relax and be free flowing, instead of trying to work out these things while learning “playing”. Good job 😁
