Hi, at 8.22 you say it is a right turn, but it looks straight ahead. The motorist could make an actual right turn. Would an examiner likely say straight ahead or right? Because, if it were the latter, both routes could be deemed correct. Thanks for the video.

Your examiner will make it clear which way you need to go. If you are still unsure on your test point to the junction you think the examiner wants you to go. This will clarify the direction.

Question first 2 mini round abouts any signal ?

Yes right turn signal on the approach for the traffic sign heading for town Stockport town centre. The second roundabout is straight ahead no signal necessary

For the mini roundabouts if you are heading for Brinnington first one right turn signal and second one no signal

The examiners can pick any route. If you get Denton or Hyde the main challenges are mini roundabouts, meeting traffic and clearance. If you get Stockport town centre it’s mainly right turns at roundabouts and right turns at traffic light controlled junctions.

It could be Stockport town centre. If so make sure you know your bus lane times. I have covered it on my Channel.

You don’t always get an emergency stop! There is a one in four chance. It is not classed as a manoeuvre.

Best to go over the videos of my test routes. At 11am it’s hard to predict, just make sure your meeting and clearance is up to speed!

Thank you for uploading these videos. I have my test booked for March so these videos are helping me understand different test routes. One question, what is the speed limit when the learner joins the main road at the beginning? It seemed 30mph, but i couldnt see signs.. and then straight away there were two mini roundabouts, which made me think if it is 20mph?

Street lights plus no speed limits equals 30mph. The road had a 30 mph speed limit.
