I have been watching your videos since last few weeks and watched several hours of your vidoes, I just LOOOVE the way you teach and learned alot just by watching your videos. I just wish you were in Houston, United States. I really really want to get trained by you. If you ever plan to do a camp here in Houston, do let us know, I will be the first one to join for sure....

looking forward to trying this on the court tonight, most of the players I play with on club days are low power hitters, it feels really hard to get moving and when I move into higher tier matches I am still stuck in the mud with my footwork, going to really focus on trying to move through the shot to the net, I was trying to move to the ball closer to the net but then stopping like the player in this video said

I think advices shown were good but the problem isn't his volley. he has good technique. I think the problem is his speed. he doesn't give it all in sprints and stops way too early when he could be closer to the net. because he doesn't go full sprint, the ball seem to go lower and he has to bend just to hit it, making it a worse shot. if he were closer, he would hit the ball at max height and not lower than the net. if you are confident in your forehand shot being strong and fast, you shouldn't be so far away from the net, you should expect ball closer to the net. hit hard and sprint hard to net, don't be afraid from high balls.

to be fair the quality of the player at the end was pretty exceptional, that was some crisp passing shots he was getting back

It isn’t a good thing to go really close to the nett cause you can’t prepare well i think the good distance from the nett is like at 3/4 from the nett to the serve lign

Do you have forehand hitting wideos of the lefty who is hitting him the volleys? 🎉

My coach told me to stamp with my left/right foot when contact with the ball. Now I'm confused. Can you advise?

That's only really true when you're already up at the net and in a comfortable position without a need to cover a huge space (as in doubles) This volley advice is directed towards people who are coming in aggressively--you cannot afford to stop and stamp in real points where the other player is trying to hit passing shots. You need to run through and commit to every shot because if you don't, you'll get passed or lobbed every time. A weak volley is death in aggressive singles play. Against more normal opponents, of course, you will have easier balls and more time to set up.

Great session. Makes the exercise harder having Alex de Minaur's evil twin passing you half the time 🤣

Seems like he is a tall guy who is uncomfortable bending his knees into a deep squat position. He starts to bend at his knees then bends at waist. Legs end up less engaged so saps his volley power.

His non dominate hand is too far away from his racquet on the FH volley‼
