That's the video I am waiting for. I love Tarrasch not just semi but also the old aggressive one. Also I hope that you will make opening theories and long series on Kings Gambit, Evans Gambit and Scotch Gambit or the Whole opening.

Thank you for this Semi-Tarrasch series! 😊 The light-squared bishop of black is such a pain. Anyway I think that the bad bishop strategy is hard to play if you aren't a positional player because you have to find always the best places for your pieces, if you can't block the pawn you lose the game. For now it's too much for my low elo! XD

I thought you are analyzing the game between Wesley & Magnus Semi-Tarrasch in Chessable match last year where Wesley made an insane exposed king walk but suddenly win over Magnus. If I remember, in their first encounter semi-Tarrasch game, Magnus win because Wesley made a bad decision in the middle game. In their second encounter with the same opening, Wesley made a remarkable comeback win making his black king really look exposed but manage to win over Magnus. I remember also that in the endgame of that second match, Wesley has a pair of knights while Magnus has a pair of Bishop. I hope you might consider that in your Part 2 video of the Semi-Tarrasch opening.

This Magnus game reminds me of a game you played a LONG time ago with this move order and even up to Qe1, right?
