@@sugengprayitno6959 Sure, but those patterns tend to be to overused and can lead to a lot of loss if not used with other things. Every time I see a IH&S or H&S patterns all I see anymore is the liquidity above and below that are targets for institutions when needed. I guess people sometimes call it Stop Loss hunting. I just look at the supply and demand with volume. I also use volume footprint charts quite often as well though so my style is a little different. Those patterns can be profitable though.

I didn't know this had a name, it's all I had before learning tech analysis. I've over 2x'd with this plenty of times, your buddy just wasn't trading at the right times. Whenever I'd see something had dropped something crazy like 40-70% in a day, I'd check out the previous charts and see if it would recover or was dead in the water. The reason that on the head and shoulders pattern we dont want to touch the head in the termination zone is because that will classify it as a double top ;)

One more thing I would like to have seen addressed: You showed some trades with 1:1 Reward/Risk ratio - correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't that only work if your win rate is very high on those particular trades? Taking trades with 1:1 R/R seems to call for showing your win rate with those trades, and a set of rules around when you can take trades with 1:1 R/R, your positive expectancy, Sharpe ratio, etc. to keep profitable. Are there some rules about when you can take trades with 1:1 R/R?
