Viper was one of the few members of the Furious Five who actually treated Po decently when he came to the Jade Palace. And probably for the same reason that Mantis did, because she knows what it's like to be underestimated by everyone.

Crane and Monkey might have rejected Po because they saw their old selves in him too; someone insecure for Crane and someone people laughed at for Monkey. But instead of using that to form a connection like Viper and Mantis, they distanced themselves from Po, and by extension, the parts of themselves they hated.

Master Viper really a main character of her own life story. Despite initial setbacks caused by natural causes at birth, her family still accepted her and embraced her pursuit of expression in dancing. Her father didn't go down the route of rejection and absence that some mentor figures portrayed in the Kung Fu Panda universe. I think it's also due to that family support why Viper has a certain self-assurance in the way she conducts and develops her Kung Fu techniques. She freely incorporates her dancing experience to create a range of attacks which makes her techniques stand out despite being unconventional to the old-fashioned beliefs of "strength" within Kung Fu.

YESSSS MY GIRL. Viper is my favorite character in the KFP franchise. Her personality always resonated with me. She’s so pretty and such an amazing fighter. Her fighting style is so satisfying to watch and was interesting seeing a snake fight. - She honestly deserved more screentime on the franchise. She hardly got solo scenes like the rest of the five did. The tv show kinda did her some justice and had an episode dedicated to her. - Also another thing. Viper isn’t venomous due to her being born without fangs. So she’s not poisonous.

Out of all characters in kfp, she is the one who treated po with kindness. She addressed him as brother during po's initial training. Meanwhile other warriors just treated him like a punching bag

Most characters in the trilogy represent what type of animal they are. Po is a panda so he’s comedic and likeable. Oogway is a tortoise so he’s displayed as wise and patient. Tai Lung is a snow leopard so he represents speed and fear. Tigress is a tiger so she’s shown to be powerful and fearsome. Crane is a bird so he’s often Non-confrontational and sometimes second guesses himself. Viper on the other hand is a snake but instead of representing what a snake is (example being cold and mean) she’s quite kind and supportive. Just one of many more reasons why the trilogy is so good at subverting your expectations.

Viper is so greatly underrated. Not only was she a dancer once but one of the only people to not treat Po terribly so early on like the rest of the 5, but she treated him with some respect despite doubting him at first. She is unique never really questioning authority or anything at all like Tigress, Monkey, or Mantis, but went with the flow of things believing that's the way they were supposed to happen. She was a very feminine character, very supportive of others and believed in her own abilities. She really was an exceptional character and obviously deserved some more screen time. Far more interesting than people make her out to be.

It has been a while since I've seen all three movies of Kung Fu Panda as well as some of the Christmas special. I may currently not have a lot of experience with the King Fu Panda franchise, but it's one of those franchises that I've had good times experiencing years ago. Today, I watched a KZbin video about Viper's best moments which inspired me to watch various videos about Viper whether for seriousness, wholesomeness, or both. In my opinion, Viper is underrated and she's becoming my favorite character. @@davidboleyn8023 Yeah, OK. One problem I have with the Princess and the Frog is that it only has the story of the Frog Prince in the film. The film isn’t based on the Frog Prince at all, it’s based on an E.D Baker story called the Frog Princess, that actually has the Princess turn into a frog when kissing the frog. Why didn’t the film have THAT story in the film? And in case you comment saying “It wouldn’t have been written yet, it’s the 1920’s,” it could have come out earlier in the Disney universe. At least they could have used the tale as a warning as to one thing that would happen if you kiss a frog Prince.

I watched back on the video on Who cursed Fiona and I remember a bit of Kung Fu Panda 3, and I just had a thought: maybe witches had the power to curse people, but because they were starting to go down from bounty hunters their curses weren’t deemed useful and forgot how to curse things overtime like in Kung Fu Panda 3 when Li said that they used to know Chi, but not anymore and that they didn’t learn it as Pandas and maybe because of Kai they stopped teaching Chi to their offspring, just like the witches probably would have in Shrek
