After a month straight in Yellowstone this January, I have finally made it back into civilization with a little taste of wildlife photography and natural history videography. But this is more than just a real of wildlife footage and photographs.
Photographing in the snow, photographing in winter conditions can realy put your technical skills to the test. If you want to finally master the technical side of photography, there is truly no better place to do so than in the snow.
Photographing in the snow can be a real challenge for the uninitiated. So much comes into play here unlike other places. You simply must understand concepts like 18% grey and how to read a light meter for instance.
