Master Yi vs Swain | Path of Champions

Did a similar build, but instead of hidden tome, I ran Secret Technique. After trying(and failing) a bunch, I got a run where I got “Created cards cost 1 less”. Paired that with Spellshield and Free attack, and I beat every enemy turn 1. Laughing at the fact master Yi beat Swain in an easier way that my 6* Lux and maxed Asol

Are you guaranteed the attack token every time in the Swain adventure? Reddit says it's rare but you can start without it. I feel like if that was this case, this build has a chance to go south kind of fast.

Played the adventure multiple times now with different champions. Never experienced not having the token first turn. This build should be consistent enough with that. Besides not having the token first turn on Swain basically means you lose regardless if it's Yi or not. They can just open attack and deal so much damage .

its only not guaranteed on the minotaur reckoner node but on other nodes its guaranteed for the player to get the token

yeah, master yi is okay only when leveled. rally is pretty much required
