This is what I like about your teaching,not so much about this position or that position of the club head but swinging it,and what gets in the way of swinging it freely,,brilliant 🏌🏼🏌🏼🏌🏼

My biggest problem I have in my swing is ripping my shoulders open from the top of my backswing,I think this is exactly what I need to help stop that. Great video Roger. I really like that you don’t over complicate the golf swing with more information then necessary to make your point.

Great video and drills Roger. Could you do a video about ball position at address please? And a bunker video would be good too. Thanks a lot from a freezing Northern Germany.

Another great drill Roger! I'm struggling with getting the timing down on my swing. I post on the right leg in the back swing and then gradually transfer weight to the left as the back swing gets to the top. Knowing when to start the downswing is what I'm having a hard time with. Ideally, I believe the weight should land on the left side and then the swing hits the bottom as I push back with left leg. I'm always wanting to have my swing hit the bottom just as I land on the left side. I think I've done that for so long and I can't get the timing to allow the bottom of the swing to be delayed a little. I hope that makes sense. Is there any drill to help this?

Are you saying that on the backswing the right hip does not go straight back and then towards target, but slides slightly to a position where right hip socket is slightly outside right foot. So hips slide or rock to right on bsw, then slide left on Downswing?
@rkswingking5 күн бұрын
@@62PNAC yes in a compound pivot support action . You will feel it when swinging one legged

Good drills, people need to go thru all Roger King videos, and take notes. You must take notes on paper, too much to just remember from memory. Chair drill is similar to the Mike Malaska stool drill. One foot drills, are explained nicely by Roger King.

Bernard Langer head turn drill, is a fun drill, Langer turns his head on the backswing and looks at spot two feet behind the ball at the top of the backswing, then makes the downswing, lets the head move back. Eventually you do not have to turn your head as much, once you get the feel and drill down. Difficult drill at first.
