If you connect the rear of the sling to the opposite side of the rear stock you won't choke yourself out as much when transitioning to offhand fire.

Matt, Do you holster your pistol first, or bring the rifle back up, then holster before assessing the rifle issue? Also THANKS for the far QD answer!

@@CheetoDust365 Would agree in general, so let me clarify. If in a live “engagement”, for someone who has combat experience, what is best practice. That’s what I want to train to on the range.
