Just to be transparent - I rowed each of the stroke rates in this series for around 3 minutes, and then looped them for the total duration. Not just because I didn't have time to row them all for long durations - but it's also the only way to make sure I kept bang on the stroke rate for the duration.

I'm using the rower since 4 months and your pacing videos are my source. I am not yet good at pacing and I find them very useful. One question, or maybe, idea for a new video: do you have some video where you perform the typical ramp test with which one can estimate their ftp? (Increase 1spm each minute till you can... I know, not easy 😂) This would be great. Keep up the good work!

Fortunately it’s not disc related, but an SI joint issue. I’ve been doing lots of yoga and other stretches to correct it. Hoping another week is all. I’ll definitely stay off the erg until there’s no pain…

I use this at times it is helpful for keeping me at 18 strokes a min look out the window over the sea from gaints causeway to scotland and only sound I hear is the wheel ,

What was your drag factor/damper setting? Just started rowing and thought i could never get my heart rate up doing 18spm. But my coach said it's because my technique is not on point yet and i can get alot more out of my drag. Seeing you row i understand what he means now, it's way more 'powerful'.

I tend to row between 130-140 drag factor. Which on my machine is around 4 to 5. And your coach is right. Muscle power will only get you so far with rowing. Technique is king.
