what about watch dogs legion they added Aiden, Jackson Pearce and Wrench on the dlc pack. So Aiden, Jackson Pearce and Wrench is better then Joseph, John, Jacob, faith and ethan seed. Watch dogs map sizes is bigger then far cry new dawn map sizes i like the police in watch dogs so more realistic.

The one main thing i hate in all Farcry games is when u shoot an enemy from afar with a sniper the enemy knows where u are almost immediately...even if im in a bush or cover.

I learned a thing or two from my experience as a sniper in games which is to relocate after you've shot a bullet and missed it or alerted someone else after missing the shot, wait for them to come out and start their search for you. That is the momemt where they are divided and from your new position you can take them out pretty quick if you can control your aim well. In far cry 5 though if i had to use a sniper I'd need to go somewhere on top of a small tower in order to take out the peggies but you can pull it off even if you're not on the top... Depends on your skills

@@alexngaihte4073 For the most part I agree. Just for a piece of humor, though, when I played FC3 the first time I got the AMR about the time I first got to the southern island. At that point I not only hadn't done an outpost undetected but had blown the alarm every time and was a bit disgruntled. Since I had the AMR thought I'd see what it can do. Outpost just south of where you arrive on island has a cliff a half mile or so from base. Climbed it, sighted and shot the two guards I could see. More came boiling out of the outpost so I kept shooting. Long story short, got the last of them and the fort undetected. First time undetected. By accident. Go figure.

Have you played Far Cry 2? The AI has much more realistic logic when it comes to locating snipers and if your cover is good enough, like a rock or dense enough bush the AI wont find you, instead they will hide.

I always thought they could’ve done better with the zombie dlc and instead made it so during Joseph’s arrest at the beginning, a zombie outbreak happened instead, and the officers and Eden’s gate would have to fight to reclaim Hope County from the Undead. I know a lot of people wished there was a “join cult option” so I feel like that would’ve been the best of both worlds. Better Zombie DLC expansion where you join the cult

i agree there are some situations where i’m behind cover but not enough and it allows the enemy to hit me behind cover i feel like being able to prone would solve that but at the same time also help speed up the game by allowing you to not die in most situations where you normally would and i feel like it could disrupt the pacing

Far Cry 5 is great because of the freedom you have(besides when you get taken by one of the siblings and there’s nothing you can do about it), and the way it really immerses you. The stealth is so much more fun with the more realistic environment, and also the way it just feels so real with you being able to hear the cult members talking and the music playing in the distance, along with being able to hear the people talking at different locations is just really cool. Also not to mention it has a great soundtrack.

Imo they ruined stealth in fc5. I cant tell you exactly how they ruined it but throughout my first playthrough of fc5 I forgot the rock mechanic even existed and only realised it on my second playthrough although I still only used it a couple of times. In fc3 and 4 I used rocks to distract enemies every time Edit: now that I think about it, in fc3 and 4 there was always 1 enemy in anothers line of sight forcing you to distract them but in 5 the way they patrolled the outposts allowed you to take each enemy out without needing to distract them and still not be detected

Unpopular opinion but farcry 5 is my favorite farcry, I found the gunplay much more satisfying and absolutely loved having the game set in Montana (granted I’m a passionate hunter and fisherman with a bias towards places like Montana)

I just started New Dawn and am loving it so far. Played 5 first and this seems a well done sequel. I thought I'd be put off by the "pops of color" in the graphics, but no. They make perfect sense and are well integrated. I really like the urban vibe of the outposts, hip-hop music, and characters. The motorcycles and gear, too. It all fits. Post apocalypses' Montana sure feels boosted. I also like the familiar gameplay and weapons. Both are the same and different at the same time. Its a lot of fun and the game looks great!

I think the plot of Farcry 5 is amazing. That's something that has happened in real life in multiple situations. Ruby Ridge(similar but not a cult). Waco. What I loved most about 5& new dawn was that you could actually use your hands to takedown someone unlike the other games which require a knife and the fact the you could have both a animal and human companion unlike 2,3,4,and especially 6 which only allows animal companion

As much as FC5 lacked weapon variety, if it was your first game, then it doesn't seem that bad, and I didn't really care whether I had a blade or not, some people love the beat the hell out of people takedowns. I did, running up to someone and kicking them just to spin around and snap their neck is sickest move you can do. Shows how stupidly powerful you are despite the fact you're barely geared.

I don't know what it is about Far Cry 5 but it is my favorite one. I remember coming home from school on launch day and absolutely adoring the game. It was the first one to not try to be a story game and a sandbox and it had so much more fun an memorable free play. It is definitely my favorite setting too for some reason. I just don't really like when games have really hot and tropical environments because it's so different from where I live and it feels more empty and just cause like. I just hear the menu music to Far Cry 5 and I can't stop thinking about the days leading up to Far Cry 5's release where I was so damn excited to play it. I don't really like the Far Cry stories and the fact that 5 kind of abandoned the constant boring first person cutscenes made me love it, I just wanted to mess around and have fun because that's what Far Cry is about.

Not that I've noticed... In new dawn if the mag has ammo in it the hands switch out the mag for a fresh one. That looks like you're pocketing the mag. When the mag is empty... the hands throws away the mag, completely... base game does not do that. And I've yet seen a fps that doesn't auto fill a mag. Which is nothing more than magic. Or pump a shotgun that has an unspent round in the chamber, already....

Also let's not forget the arcade editor. If u get bored in main campaign. Then u will lots of fun in arcade. Playing maps made my players that takes place in different environments and slightly different gameplays. I also made my own map called "Operation Pacific" on PS4. Your goal is to take over a sea base and the 2 guard posts. You can do both detected and undetected methods. On alarm, there is so many coming then. So the detected method is not like too quick. Again the arcade is a big point for me to FC5

It's FC New Dawn all the way for me, I just wish that they'd made it bigger and spread out the story a bit and expanded on the weapon system. I just love the setting, use of colour, weapon crafting and soundtrack. ...I hate the enemy levelling system though, It's no fun sniping bullet sponges.

I wish the resistance points were greater in Far Cry 5, or maybe the cutscenes happened more as you got closer to the end. Felt like I progressed very quickly in the first two hours.

Yeah i wanted the game to be way longer too After you take out the 3 siblings I was 100% expecting a 4th zone to have to complete for the main villain instead of going right into the last battle They definitely should have done that and then maybe for a 5th zone in the far south region they should have put a whole buncha outposts an side quests full of cultists that would try an take over for the seeds unless you wipe them out too with like a hidden boss

Currently playing New Dawn, and Farcry 5 is indeed way better. It’s definitely not a bad game, but its missing atmosphere, the twins are the weakest villains of the series, and gameplay is less impactful or something. I also think Farcry 5 is a better game then people give them credit for, because it was the moment a lot of players had hopes the would coming with something news, like AC did

I loved the settlement upgrade feature on Far Cry New Dawn it felt like you was apart of a community and it was good going back there after missions to upgrade. I didn't like Far Cry 5 just didn't seem like fun. I'll have to try and give it another shot, but Far Cry 6 is coming out soon so I don't think I'll bother lol

You are truly missing out on a great game. Far Cry 5 is my favorite and I never thought they would beat 3 for my favorite Far Cry. Give it a chance and I guarantee you will like it as much if not better than 6 which is amazing as well.

I am playing through 5 and I totally LOVE it! It has a few issues but so far I am loving it. Joseph Seed is one of the few villians that I can sympathize with even if I wanna kill him. The scene where he explains about his wife and daughter shocked me to my core. It's also one of the few games that made me laugh till I couldn't breath ( the car ride with Hurk Drubman Jr 🤣🤣🤣). Overall, one of my favorite games!

I do wish we could’ve getton more of the seed family. Like they could’ve made so much more out of them.

I kind of thought Far Cry New Dawn was harder with stealth. There is no longer a customization menu for your weapons so you can't just put a supressor on everything you use to shoot the alarms out so you actually have to carefully plan a route by circling the area and looking at NPC routes. I'm more of a get in and fuck shit up kinda guy so realizing that I couldn't just use a supressor on the alarms in New Dawn became a small challenge.

I love Far Cry 5 and New Dawn but I'm just a little impatient about weapons upgrades Far Cry 5 but you have to work for what you want. In New Dawn it does get a little aside itself with the supernaturalism and the Mickey & Lou characters I wish were tools under somebody else instead of the main villains but it's just a game and it's still fun.

I enjoyed Far cry new dawn way more Imo The Environment felt a lot different and new it feels a dead world trying to come back to life and it has an amazing level of details and weapons were way more fun to use and yes it doesn't have any customization but come on fc5 only has few skins, 6 optic and only 2 suppressors that were literally same but had different looks and they weren't that enjoyable to use and in fc5 companions were useless (except boomer) they always gets killed and They can sometimes get u killed and they can't do sh!t except getting stuck somewhere and ruin your stealth while new dawn has a pretty op companions they literally have a boar that can revive itself and clean the outposts by itself and i enjoyed new dawn side missions a lot more and yes there isn't many of em but it had puzzle and easter eggs that i could enjoy while must of fc5 side missions were pretty boring, unenjoyable and i was tired of playing must of it and i had a lot of fun playing new dawn. Yeah that's pretty much it and tbh new dawn felt more like an arcade game but that's pretty all the reasons i have and feel free to disagree

Bro I agree I did not enjoy far cry 5 because of how many stuff and side missions there are in the game and also how I was forced to do side missions to get enough points to fight the seeds in each region. But the soundtrack for far cry 5 is suuuuuuuper good and well done

Far cry 5 still the best here. Especially The Map size , side missions and Soundtrack. New Dawn's pretty a downfall for the Far Cry Franchise. Just can't wait for Far Cry 6. Farcry 5 had more main enemies like joseph, jacob(my favorite main enemy), faith, john and each one was in a different region and also they had your friends captured but farcry new dawn only had the twins who were always together and they were only in one region

They are no where near Vaas. Their voice actors aren’t half as good as Michael Mando voicing Vaas. He was an amazing villain. Every ounce of him was acted beautifully. And the writing was top tier. What really hit me in New Dawn is that you kinda mutated thanks to Joseph and his apple. Reminding me of the First Far Cry where your character get mutated. I liked that.
