I swear Ubisoft is so inconsistent with the games and content they release! how they can be so good and bad at the same time, they release those awesome villain DLCs I loved every single one and then for some reason with this DLC they think that alien sci fi with a story that makes absolutely no sense is what the players would like to see next like what! I did like how the armor had multiple perks instead of just one. One thing I hated about far cry 6 was how limited you were with perks, constanly having to switch outfit pieces

I thought about that too. Perks in outfits is not a good idea. The skill tree is awesome. You can have every perk/skill at once. At least they should have given us the ability to add slots to add perks. If I could have the double jump with the rocket launcher backpack, I would be happy. Though I miss the double jump in New Dawn a lot. Because that one thrusts you upward. Which enables you to jump high and reach things. Far Cry 6es double jump thrusts you forward. Try it out.

I enjoyed FC6 a lot but I'm not sure if I will be getting this one. It just lacks substance, even the villain DLCs introduced some new lore which was great, this feels like just another meaningless sci-fi expansion no-one asked for. I'd honestly rather pay $20 for a FC6 map editor / Arcade mode

I really wanted a spin off game this year, like primal for 4 and new dawn for 5. Kinda sad to see that instead we got this wacky dlc attached to 6. I hope soon we get another spin off game to hold us over until 7. Also I doubt it well ever happen but I wish one day we will get a primal 2 because that game kicks so much ass.

Unlikely to happen. Most of the community hated primal and ubisoft were also so terrible at advertising it. I personally enjoyed it and its one of the best caveman based games out there in my opinion, but ubisoft making a second is very unlikely

They should’ve made this DLC either the inside the mind of Anton Castillo or an expansion with Dani and Vaas that could continue the base game story and flesh out the characters. This just feels disappointing and unnecessary. I’d rather take another Blood Dragon to this.

I think ubisoft has really lost it's way with the far cry franchise, it doesn't seem to have the inspiration or skill to do what they use to do with the older games, plus it doesn't seem like they are listening to what fans want,,,,it makes me miss 3 on up to 5, even new dawn was ok, but 6, dang did they drop a big steamy clunker on us, everything feels like it was made to please the fortnight crowd, far cry has been hallowed out, dumbed down, I just can't lose myself in 6 like I could all the other's, everything feels like they want you to speed through it, and like there is zero real reason to continue, why? what is the point, there is nothing to do besides find the weapons, witch yes I liked, but even they are not all that fun to use in this one, idk what they did, but they just don't feel right, none of the combat or take downs do, and isn't it about time we move over some sort of dismemberment if they want to do all those crazy John wick like take downs, witch I like, bit it just looks like the character is doing them to a dummy, lol but yeah, they messed up the fishing, made it pointless, when they should have expanded on what they had in 5, also add deep sea diving and hidden caves, fun stuff like that, they got rid of the dang skill tree witch was a huge mistake, it should have been expanded, they basically got rid of hunting witch was one of my favorite parts, but there is no crafting so it is pointless, they got rid of the skin and search animation for some strange reason, like I said, fortnight crowd,,,, they even messed up your inventory and how you heal, idk, im sure I could list 50 other issues, but man did they lose what made far cry special, noe it is hideous, I just pray they see what fans say and actually go back to what made far cry amazing, and maybe even give us the side game set on a tropical dinosaur island like fans have been asking for,

Ubisoft is a really greedy company. The voice actor for Anton Castillo was probably the most famous and therefore expensive talent they’ve hired for their Far Cry games. So I doubt they would want to set up a new contract with him and pay him more than the vast majority of talent they could find for a more generic role like this. Since they had shown the post launch timeline done after the season pass DLC… I’m guessing they were thinking of a way to squeeze a little more out of this game before they go full swing into producing the next. I feel like it similar with the Ragnarok DLC for Valhalla… but then again that was considerably bigger than this.

I dont know what to feel with this dlc, the idea of a ripple in time sounded interesting had they NOT reused the same assets but crystalized. Am I the only one noticing that reused assets in different skins is a ubisoft staple? Personally I wouldve loved for a jurassic park X Yara dlc, having a troodon, dilophosaurus, or a velociraptor as an amigo in one of the islands being dropped off by lola. dont know if anyones pitched this idea, but its somethin.

Not gonna lie but ever since the Joseph collapse dlc, I’m kinda like having weird mix feels of the dlcs they are adding. They seem so random and just cash grab. I really wished they explored anton’s villian dlc for him. Explore his past and the man he has become that we know in FC6.

But yeah basically I was here to see if this DLC was worth the $20 price tag which I feel should have lowered a little bit by now but nope it's still $20 and I guess it probably won't be lowering.... Yeah, started to watch the release event, skipped ahead to the DLC and it was like you said...really eye-rolling stuff, complete with a purple-haired dev ofc. This whole DLC looks copy/pasted with some new colouring, and OK some "bizarre" settings, but it seems to lack substance. I enjoyed FC6 at first, but its got this strange mixture of loads to do while simultaneously feeling empty? And the villain was obxonious and bland IMO (frankly never heard of the actor prior to FC6).

I honestly think ubisoft have just released this to give far cry 6 a final piece of relevance while they work on their next project. The main game fell flat for me compared to previous far cry games. I enjoyed some of the DLC but was disappointed that all 3 where you play as the villans was pretty much the same. I think ubisoft are just settling for mediocrity at this point because they know it still sells. There are better games out there for the price but if you want the mediocre far cry experience, this is the game for you. I think lost between worlds graphically looks great as ubisoft once again prove they can make brilliant worlds, but that's it. Gameplay is still boxstandard. That being said, it is a improvement over the godawful FC5 DLC that we got.

Literally the only reason this low effort DLC was made is to milk some more money since they kept all mechanics, animations and most of the assets from main FC6 game. They only made this weird level/environmental design to try and trick player that it's unique while it's really not... I expected a spinoff game and not this low budget/effort time and money wasting garbage. The reason I hated FC6 beside it having nice map, gunplay and lot of other good things is because it was too wacky, goofy and cringe with its writing and characters and this DLC also has that cringe and unserious aspect. I just want a more grounded and more serious game that's not made for 10 year old kids.

This whole DLC kind of felt like a shorter, less cool Watch Dogs: Legion., Minus the different dimensions. I do really like the platforming in this DLC, all the futuristic/windowed building parts. This is however, the only Far Cry game I've played more than 5 hours of. I completely agree, kind of upset they didn't do a little tweak to change it up for takedowns. I was hoping there would be different ones since they're made of crystals.

I really liked Far Cry 6. This looks super, super soulless and mediocre. Like, it isn't creative or crazy enough to be interesting in a weird way, yet it's too stupid and outlandish to be immersive. It in fact reminds me of that Metal Gear Solid 5 spinoff that everybody hated.
