The value provided here for new AI film producers is simply incredible. I use AI generated images for all my music sleeves and sometimes AI generated videos (although still quite expensive to produce). AI allows small artists the chance to create some unique and highly professional when they would otherwise not be able to do so. I am trying to improve and this video is my number 1 go to for learning how to get better. If it's ok with you I will post a link on my social channels - I won't post though unless you are ok with this.

You know what I love the most in this video, is that it is direct to the point with specific examples of shots discussed, and uses words that people that are not in the film industry and beginners can easily understand. Most of all the sentence "Don't forget to subscribe, like and click on the notif bell"; is at the very end of the video. usually, this sentence is used at the beginning, middle and end of the video which is sometimes annoying for me and ruins the pace and concentration of the video for me. This video is one example of how, if you are confident in your output, you don't need to say this sentence every time because people will eventually subscribe to your channel if they love it. This is one of the videos that is high value in terms of the knowledge in the filming world and is free to access. I am a beginner and boy, I can understand every shot that you are talking about. I am not stupid but if you are new in the film industry, you got a lot to understand. I finished your video without pausing and just listening and focusing on the topics you discussed. And I think I know I have the confidence now where to start. Hope you will have more videos about Runway ML like their Lipsync Feature.

other ideas to try are things like oscillating shot, hyper speed timelapse from and to different locations, split screen shot and have the subject cross the boundary. I've been trying to push the limits of these things, and with the newest models you'd be surprised what you can make the AI do. It's all in the prompt friends. I always try to picture the shot in my head, and I walk through every beat of the shot and have the AI focus on the things I want the audience to focus on. This was an awesome video, as someone who has been learning all I can about filmmaking I appreciate content like this. Thank you for sharing.

You don't need a stunning cinematic moment, you need stunning scenes that tell the plot of the story from coherent moments! The slow motion reported problem: I use accelerated, slow motion generated shots to give a more natural effect, but this results in shorter length details, i.e. a scene generated to be 4 seconds long is actually only 2 seconds.

@tobypointer18 күн бұрын
It is challenging I agree. the best way I found is to create 6 references images of your character in different head directions. (Use Runway's new camera controls to spin around your character, then take stills from the video to create the different angles) and finally use all six as a character reference. that process worked well for me.

Very interesting cinematography guide. The problem is that Runway (and most of the AI video generators today) lacks consistency between shots. The result always follows the "mobile advertising" aesthetics: non-connected beautiful images in slow motion for the "wow" effect. Visually satisfying but empty. You cannot tell a story without consistency. I'm using Domo AI over my own 3D animation content and avoiding realistic styles for consistency. Thanks for the video.

@tobypointer2 ай бұрын
Thanks for the excellent review. As for alternatives to Krea/Magnific that you can run locally with ComfyUI, there are a few options you can explore. One is Stable Diffusion combined with ESRGAN or Real-ESRGAN, which provides high-quality upscaling for free. Both can be integrated with local tools like ComfyUI.

@@TeemuKetola@TeemuKetola No, they all alter your character to some extent. However, in Krea, from my experience, the changes are quite consistent, which can actually help maintain character continuity. It's something to keep in mind when designing your character's appearance.
@BreakthroughUnlimitedАй бұрын
@@tobypointer most hard for me is keeping the character consistent.
@tobypointerАй бұрын
@@BreakthroughUnlimited Yeah, maintaining character consistency can be a major challenge.
