_Colossal Youth_ the film he talks about at the end was a one of a kind that I don't think could possibly replicated. It was filmed as a kind of before and after of the demolition of the ghetto, and the way their lives were changed. The way the communal breakdown was portrayed was just so subtle and masterful. Something I realized a couple days ago, was how the scenes at Vanda's new apartment in the projects (the present moment after the demolition) were the longest takes in the movie. What was so genius, is that new and novel moments in memory seem to be stretched out disproportionately compared to other memories and the almost unbearingly long takes reflect that.

1:34:04 I almost cried. I’m experiencing new kind of feelings after I stayed just only 4 months with a family to shoot a documentary about them, each month I conceal my self more and more, everyday i feel more paralyzed toward them, more depressed sometimes, more carful about what they say and what in there faces when they think about money or life, I’m so fragile and I want to show my vulnerability as it is the cinema’s vulnerability itself towards the current socioeconomic-political system or towards death.
