Thank you for your content. It keeps me motivated even if I have to re-watch them over and over again. Right now I am building the emergency fund instead of paying off debt faster. This is because rolling layoffs are happening at United health right now. Once I continue to payoff debt and build the emergency fund faster. I will shove as much as humanly possible into the market. I am in my 30's and have a long way to go but I can do this.I don't have student loans but my M.S. and MBA never taught me about any of this. Shows how great our educational system is.

I used to feel like renting is a scam because you're investing in something that you're never going to own. However now I see it a little differently, I feel like getting paid for owning real estate or rental property is a good thing because you provided someone with a place to sleep or to live on the current afford to buy a place where they are ready to buy a place yet

I disagree about the phone however I financed my phone because I didn't have like a 1300 so I put 700 down and finance the rest and I still have it. I have the insurance on it and they replace it if it breaks. That was probably like 6 years ago I don't need to go get a new phone

I got tired of buying the cheaper phones because the cheaper phones were out too quick and I was just going through phones way too much. So I just went and bought the most expensive phone that was in there and I still have it. I got it replaced a couple times because it broke and I have the insurance however I'm not out there buying phones all the time I feel like you're spending more money buying the cheap phones that you are just getting the better phone

Your math is not really correct since you assume that your $4000 car last for 30 years but that’s certainly not gonna happen and there’s quite a bit more money flowing into having a vehicle, any kind of vehicle, for 30 years

I don’t think he said use $4000 car for 30 years. Neither does the person who buys new car use new car for 30 years. Such spenders will keep buying new cars every 3-4 years. I understand he meant if you can use that $4000 car for sometime (4-5 years) instead of financing $45000 car.. you save car payments for that period and it should help build finances - invest or save, whatever.

One safety/protection for young people and even for me that I didn't understand was the value of term life insurance in your 20's and 30's. It would have saved me a lot of money and covered the risk of something bad happening to me young. So I will always value that concept and want young people to understand it.
