Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau (1925 - 2012) was a German singer (Bariton), conductor, artist, writer und reciter. Fischer-Dieskau is considered as one of the most important Lied- und Operasingers of the 20th century. With over 400 records he is probably the singer with the highest amount of published recordings of his interpretations.
