@@masterdentaltechnician1914 I have shared already with my internal team. Lets not use greenstate contouring to replace good designing and proper milling strategies though. I see this as a big issue in labs that I evaluate.

not only its very informatif but its very pleasent to watch, we can feelmthe passion you have for your job. We have very commun uses of miyo like you but I have learned a few new stuff that well help us put some more punch in our work, like the limentine touche on the center of incisal edges , its very beautiful and it breaks the patterns and help make thinks look more random.

This was a great video but more about countouring in the green state and MiYo than a true start to finish. The CAM process would have been nice to see (many people overlook / underestimate this crucial step) and I think you could get a much more detailed part off the machine and save yourself time / accuracy with better nesting / CAM options. Doesn't this defeat the purpose / benefit of CAD/CAM to be doing so much re-work by hand? Your design looked like you spent the same time / attention to detail on the CAD side just to let the machine wipe it out. By the way - amazing work on the finished product - I am a fan of what you're able to achieve

Thank you very much for the great comment. I usually don't spend much time in Greenstate because my mills give me great results. Most of the time I just open up between the teeth. This video was intended for people that must do green state contouring because of the mills they have. I might do a CAM video on my Patreon channel soon. Look out for the new video that is going live today at 10 EST US. You will like it.

"Hi I've learned a lot from your videos, thank you! Is there a method in exocad for drawing subgingival margins on intraoral scanned files that allows for removing soft tissue on the buccal and lingual sides? I want to achieve a result similar to margin scraping on stone models, without using freeform modeling. Any advice?"
@masterdentaltechnician1914
@masterdentaltechnician1914 Ай бұрын
Yes it's possible in the 3.2 version of Exocad. Which version do you have?

Do yo have any cracks failure in these works? If not, why others make these works with titanium or metal bar. Perfect work but have one little mistake you should not glaze parts that touch gigiva, only polished zirconia.

No cracks. You need a certain prosthetic space. Also every firing needs the have long term cool down

I do not. MIYO is such a good material you don't need to. I did it in the past but it was too labor intensive for very little results. I think I would do pink with infiltrated Zirconia for darker shades because I am using preshaded discs. C3 or C4 the pink will become an issue with MIYO. On the other hand I don't do any of these shades

hello..i have question..i noticed in your firring chart you dont have vacum ..explain
@masterdentaltechnician1914
@masterdentaltechnician1914 Ай бұрын
Correct. I don't like vacuum on ANY glaze cylcle. Layered PFM, Emax MIYO etc. I found that no vacuum will get you a nicer looking glaze with less Glaze paste. I see people putting tons of Glaze paste on their crowns because they want it shiny in one bake. Without vacuum you can achieve it with less Glaze. I also fire Structure without glaze and get a nicer texture.

what brand of zirconia do you use? Thanks for the video!
@masterdentaltechnician1914

You can use ArgenHT, Origin from B&B. It does not matter. What matters is the Miyo application

@@masterdentaltechnician1914 How do you combat Miyo " running" color? I know the company said it is all about consistency, but it is easier said than done! What is the black pegs you use to hold your full arch? Thanks!
@masterdentaltechnician1914
@masterdentaltechnician1914 3 ай бұрын
1) just use a very light coat of glaze paste. Almost nothing. You can experiment with no glaze at all at first. Especially when you add multiple Miyo layers at the incisal and have too much glaze paste it's get's runny. The pegs are firing pegs but those are not ideal so I do not recommend them. That's what I had laying around 👍🤣😊

Oh and bleach shade pucks seem more fragile than other shades. Would that make a difference or is it just me? I’ve just returned to this field after 8yrs. A lot has changed and a lot to learn..
