Yeah gotta love that Dramaturge. Plus it's rather annoying since it's basically 1 free Material due to it coming back after being used as fusion mat.

Already havin this deck irl, I was eager to make my darklord/despia deck right away as soon despia came out is master duel! I'll throw in some extra things you can add into the deck. I played against another darklord/despia player and one play that surprised me was summonin dark law with mask change 2! Never thought I could include a hero in the deck. If you really wanna go crazy with it, you can add ready fusion + allvain and you can synchro into baronne with superbia or dramaturge! Didn't think I could use ready fusion when I pulled it. It was a good thing I didn't dismantle it lol

i think a nice way to go into baronne is also by adding herald of orange light its a tuner and superbia can summon it and then herald + superbia = baronne and in the opponents end phase baronne summons back superbia which brings back herald for a new baronne summon on top of all that this herald us a handtrap negating monsters by probably sending a darklord to grave which they want anyways usually

it ain't that hard to build the despia/dark lord deck since u mostly focus on the pure dark lord then slap in sum on the despia cards for sum ez fusion

People sleep on Despia right now. Currently palying it pure is kinda tough without stuff like Branded in Red, Guardian Chimera and the Masquerade Dragon but it can still compete fairly well. The right now I'm running a going second variant makes use of their level 8 fusion to reduce everything to 0 and try to OTK. Splashed Fallen of Albaz and his fuisons, a frightfur engine and 3 fusion destiny to summon Dystopia for burn, quick destruction and 2 draws from celestial. It can brick badly but you can really explode and spam fusions like crazy. Csnt wait for their next wave of support to be added to master duel.

After another support will come later, which is branded in red and the masquerade dragon. Boy, it is going to be fun to heavy siding the despia later on. And become the actual government of your own duel where people must pay to play cards.

Been using Darklord despia at local since it came out greater poly is really good so is even instant fusion for the level 2 tuner fairy to make barrone

That's basically what the despia engine is for in Despia Darklord. Help cheat out First Darklord. Preferably with Dramaturge as one of its Materials, another being superbia plus one more darklord, like ixchel, nergal or indulged.

there is one thing I don't understand about the texting of the first darklord though..the description says "Your opponent can not targert fairy monsters you control with card effects" yet he himself can be targeted while it does not state "other fairy monsters" ?

Im confident ur decklist is just bad ratio wise, thats why u're "bricking" that much, cuz my man the despia engine has no bricks if ur ratios are good : 1 dramaturge, 3 alluber, 2 tragedy, 2 openings, 2 theater . And most of the darklord cards are meant to be discarded from the hand by their effects only to be revived by the first darklord or the Superbia or the spell

despia shadoll more consistence. but actually it is the dogmatika or invoker engine that make it more stable since despia/shaddoll alone gonna make your resource run out fast against non-extra deck you face

Right now? As an engine with Shaddoll Invoked After the next wave of support? Pure with a Patchwork engine. Going first (with a good hand of course) you can set up 2 Masquerade and Branded in Red to summon Guardian Chimera on your opps turn to "Trisula" them and draw cards. The Masqs on their own can burn for 600 each for every card your opponent activates. If you somehow manage to put 3 on the field thats 1800 burn for evey card they activate. Thats about 4 effects before losing to burn on the 5th. You can even splash fusion destiny here as you are already locked into fusions with Opening. The deck has untapped potential

If they summon the XYZ, Dramaturge will trigger its effect and negate the effect of the XYZ monster. Opponent had to remove Dramaturge first.
