Perlereino caused Terraforming to be banned, I think that card should come back to one soon. ThunDra is at full power now, and thats kinda crazy. Water Enchantress came to MD at 2, glad to see it get fully unlimited now. Also, Konami probably won't mention hitting any Tenpai cards until they officially announce the cards coming to the next pack. Hopefully we see the hits then.

With Iblee gone, maybe Master Duel could experiment with unbanning Knightmare Mermaid to make Orcust decks more consistent unless there is some other unhealthy thing Mermaid did besides an easy Iblee lock that I don't know Also, they still haven't unbanned the synchro Ib. still behind the other list on that card

Even as a snake eye player who wants poplar to stay at 2, I also wanted yubel hits so I'm happy to take that trade. The deck is going to lose a lot of plays with the limit to one, but I really hate playing against yubel. I also played iblee and tear but I'm fine getting compensated for the copies I got and moving on.

It's so vindicating to hear someone else say Yubel has been carrying players. I encountered one player who ended on an Access Codetalker...on TURN 1. He clearly had no clue what he was doing but I just didnt have what I needed to out the Yubel pieces. Mix that in with some free hand trap disruption, and I still ended up losing.

How?? You have to use your normal summon on it and isnt worth it. And before you claim you can special summon her with other yubel effects like pain etc. She is a dark cyberse and pain and squirmmer and gates both say a 0/0 fiend. So not worth running in yubel if it has to take up your normal summpn. Also your end boards are actually weaker then without her. Like in MD there are so many link decks etc. Like you just gave em a free extender

And their continuous Yubel Spell prevents anyone to get targeted as attack except Yubels. You wanna Link Summon away? That means you should be praying you have NS-able monster in your hands, NOT monsters that can only be SS-ed. Also, be prepared to get negated once you Link Summoned, or got the effect changed. You wanna crash it? Your only options are either Yubel A or Yubel B. Both has 0 ATK and can't be destroyed by battle. No way you are serious when you're saying that Iblee makes worse board than the standard Yubel Unchained. It's arguably better than Yubel Unchained. At least I can Evenly the Yubel Unchained's boards.

Komoney always gives you the long overdue stuff (unbanning irrelevant cards, banning toxic floodgates), months if not years too late, and people still act like that's a good thing, not just the bare minimum. I wouldnt necessarily say so I'm not to sure but if I managed to stop the first round of fusion summons (kitkallos mill)they would always use rainbow bridge or trivikarma that got milled to get into perlereino to continue so I think it's actually a good hit now those cars won't get played in tear anymore meaning less consistent and less scary end board correct me if I'm wrong I don't play tear I'm running resonators 😅 not going to argue against the fact that snow is pretty strong too but i dont think it was bad to hit the field spell.

@@interferno2297 yes, tear is now a bit more susceptible to handtraps but running trivi and/or rainbow bridge always came at the cost of being very useless draws, plus there is always a chance to mill the planet itself before you hit either. Planet can be replaced by supreme sea mare and rota to effectively have the same number of starters, but the second effect of planet to pop backrow was huge into grind games and vs stun. I just don't think 60 cards piles will be the most affected by this ban, and they were (and probably still are) the most efficient and powerful version of tear

This list is exceptional, but also disappointing at the same time. 6/10. 1) Why ban the Tearlament field spell when Kitkallos is banned everywhere else? Kitkallos is also used in other decks besides Tearlaments so why not ban it? We could get Instant Fusion back if they do. 2) Yubel got a slap on the wrist like all the usual "recently out of the shop" decks get. If they really wanted to make an impact, limiting Opening of the Spirit Gates and Phantom of Yubel would've been better. 3) Snake-Eye got hit again, but this time it's just Poplar and Kirin. Kirin could've gone down to 1 and it would've yielded better results in terms of the odds of hitting the starter with successfully with Imperm. 4) Gold Sarc at 2 means a lot, but especially to Branded players who now have 9 copies of Branded Fusion in their decks now. (3 Branded Retribution, 2 Aluber, 2 Gold Sarcophagus/Despia, 1 Branded Opening, plus the Branded Fusion itself), yeeash!? A proper hit to Branded would be either Branded Fusion getting banned, or Retribution to 0 and Aluber to 1. 5) The elephant that never seemed to have ever moved out of the room (STUN), finally did. People only really played stun to get cheap wins and/or sick of playing the boring format, just like with the meta decks that end on ridiculous boards. Stun was meant to punish people who either don't run/didn't draw proper removal against the deck and now the deck is nearly impossible to play. Barrier Statues are debatable because if you summon the wrong one, you're done. Earth = Ancient Gear. Fire = SEFK. Water = Tearlament. Light = Lightsworn, Dark = Don't make me laugh. Yes, and goodbye Iblee and goodbye need to play Linguriboh in the Extra Deck. 6) Thunder Dragon Colossous to 3 and 3 EEV? We'll see how that goes. As for Water Enchantress and the rest is just whatever.

You can summon 5 4000 attack monsters with 5 omni negates and they ban anti meta stun, which is the only thing that is not broken at all, and allows you to play like the old time YGO, when normal summon and trap cards actually mattered. phantom not at 1, OSS still in the game, no apollo, kali yuga or any other snake eye or yubel (actual) bans, no generic floodgates... just a bunch of semi limits, i wouldn't call this a good banlist, the top decks are still basically the same. I really hate the ocg mentality of hitting consistency instead of dealing with problems, the game is getting more frustrating every new set release.

Overall I really loved this ban list, mostly because of the adventure package and those damn floodgates!
