I shop at Menards more because they are right around the corner from my house. HD isn't too far, but depending on the time of the day, the traffic makes to whole trip longer. Lowe's is even more out of the way.

P/S ... the attachment capable trimmer will use all the Ryobi attachments ... same for Toro, Craftsman among others.

Maybe it didn’t show up well on camera but to me it looked like that mower could barely discharge the grass. But the trimmer and blower looked like they have decent performance.

Just judging from the mess they had in the garage, I think they had left the rear plug out which would have effected the side discharge. Imho

Are the amp hour batteries interchangeable. Can I put a 5ah battery in the weed trimmer and a 2ah in the mower?

I couldn't even imagine moving somewhere where there isn't a Menards. I'm lucky enough to have a Menards 5 minutes away from me and I take advantage of that all the time.

I don’t think we have one down here in my area but if we did I would definitely go check it out, there brand doesn’t look to bad for price I wouldn’t mind giving them a shot if I wasn’t already invested into ego. Thanks for the video guys!! TIA#1!!!

I got real excited when I saw masterforce. I've been trying to find a review on the new brushless 20v blower. Darn this was 80v. Great video, so glad you did a masterforce one.

We have Menards in Detroit. They easily have a larger selection of everything, (except power tools), than Home Depot and Lowes _*combined*_. , The problem with Menards is that their customer service is absolutely horrible - to the point that I don't even shop there anymore. Also, their "rebates",(store credit), are 1960s style where you have to mail them off and hope you get them. I've mentioned that to the people at the service desk and they tell me that everyone complains about that. I wonder how much money that pocket every year off of unpaid rebates? But then I supposed that's the point, isn't it?

Agree. I bought a grout blade for a recipro tool and didn't open for 8 months. Discovered it would not fit my tool and took it back to Menards. They said it was no longer a shelf item so no return available. Unopened in the package! Drove over to Home Depot and they gave me a store credit for the full amount.

Their rebate program is becoming a sham. I’ve been waiting on two of them for months. I’m done shopping there until they have actual sales where you get the best price without a silly rebate program.

Same as Greenworks, just different colors. Even the batteries are interchangeable. I've always had horrible luck with Menard's brands. This makes me fell bad about all my 80v Greenworks tools.

Don't feel bad. Greenworks has really stepped up it's game. So has Masterforce and Menards. Brushless with a 4 year warranty on a budget! Its a good combination.

I am not fully against electric landscaping equipment as I’ve used it in the past I just think they are underpowered and when they run out of battery you have to charge it if you don’t have an extra so you have to wait a couple of hours to finish you’re lawn

Menards is fine if you're not going for the A-list stuff. You won''t find brands like DeWalt, Milwaukee, Toro, etc... at Menards. They mostly feature B-list (and C-list) brands like Troybilt and Yard Machines, along with brands you never heard of. Most store brand Masterforce stuff is junk. But since Greenworks is making their mowers and other cordless yard stuff, you might be okay. By the way, last time I was in Menards and had a look at the mowers, it looked pretty clear to me that Snapper electric mowers are also Greenworks. So that means Greenworks, Snapper, Kobalt, and Masterforce are all the same. Plusses and minuses to that I guess.

Menard's amazes me each time I go in. Just off habit its typically the last place I look but they always deliver. They stock much of their wood product in the 'barn' outside so their western red cedar is already seasoned and will stay much straighter than the conditioned product from the other stores. I have bought insulation there for nearly half the price of the pink stuff. They stock Jeld-Wen windows with odd naming conventions but considerably cheaper. After calling Jeld-Wen they confirmed the same model Menards sold for $100 less was the model Lowes and Home Depot sold as their top end. It seems as the other box stores are pulling back their inventory and trying to go lean Menards is going bigger. Also bought a Masterforce full-lite door 5 months ago for $100 cheaper and same quality as other stores. Makes no sense, I honestly don't understand their business model.
