At the time this was released only 2 years after they debuted RM had already had received multiple death threats for their concerts, he has always been so strong, I think releasing a song like this with such heavy lyrics was a healing experience for him. And he was able to do it bc BTS has always been more than K-pop and were always honest and genuine with their music and message.

It's really so difficult for artists isn't it? Could you ever imagine so many people just dog piling on you just for something you live and enjoy and you want to see grow?! I could never imagine the mass pressure that must be. With that a strong leader is needed and RM fits that bill!
