Increasing contrast in Punch means exactly the same as decreasing contrast in Smooth ? Without gain changes, we can make low end punch or smooth by changing contrast ?

Something I really hate in these kind of videos is on screen representation of features while you play unessesary background EDM over it. Every time you click the LISTEN button, nothing is happening in this video, so why click it?
@ffd64644 жыл бұрын
you need to push the contrast bottom up or down,or you just hear nothing

the videos are made to emphasize and exaggerate the changes theyre making so you can understand how the modules work, not doing a proper master with them

i hate those unrealistic presentations. you do a new module for low-end and you don’t show it in action in a bass heavy context like club music or drum & bass or hiphop?! you should start being relastic because more than half of your customers make bass music nowadays and they get your products to enhance that club kick and bass not the low end of a guitar.

Samuel eh they function… I dislike a lot of the mixing decisions they make, but it’s not true snake oil like some other expensive VSTs, and RX7 is still ridiculously useful for sketchy audio shot on location for video work.
@Samuel-ky2cq4 жыл бұрын
feeling evaporated I will admit RX is top notch and used by professionals in many professions all the way to crime investigators, for pretty good reason. But ozone is not the best at what it does

You still need to know the order or things in your chain and the different metering options I’d say. Master assistant is only a starting point too

Toggling example - just makes the bass louder and muddier. Great. Getting so sick of Izotope's BS marketing of non-musical dumbed-down preset candy. And not including sidechain function in Dynamic EQ in Ozone 9 - you have to spend several hundred dollars on Nectar to get it.

Not Nectar; Neutron. Have no idea why I got those two mixed up
