it's been tough for me to co-write...only seriously with 3 writers in 45 years...I see people in groups looking for co-writers and I never comment, as it has caused me problems later with false claims, etc..I've shelved a dozen or more good songs due to being co-writes...and my words were cut out of a few songs and replaced with their own later....I've still got a handful of songs I can't write on my own even after trying countless times, , but I have plenty to keep me busy finishing...I have endless songs to complete, so unless someone pulls me in to help finish a project, I'll stay out except for my wife, who is learning....

yes, for fun...I haven't pitched a song except on line in almost 10 years...and my songs are old school...but several cuts in Europe, NZ, and even Nashville...and my wife is developing and she's young enough...we're looking at working with songtown in future, once I feel she is ready....@@SongTownUSA

I'm a new writer and new to this channel. I have zero knowledge of how the business works. When you use the word 'title' in this video, is it an industry term meaning the entire song? There are so may songs that have the same title, I'm assuming you're referencing an entire song.

Welcome to the channel.. The title of your song is the name of your song. Yesterday was the title of the song by the Beatles. No different than a book title. And yes, there are lots of songs with the same title. That's why it's a good thing to come up with original titles that are fresh :) ~CM
