Hello all you beautiful people, after some reconsideration I won't be continuing this series right away. If you all love it enough I would be glad to do continue eventually but I think there are other things I would rather focus on (Live streams, different challenges and Dlc content) at the end of the day I think this was a bit of a miss but If the people want this finished, I will do so later down the line. I hope you all understand I'm sorry for not finishing this :(

Hello, it’s a me, rl1 recommendation guy, really liked that you that u went through with the rl1 and enjoyed the video. If you’re looking for more challenge run ideas try either incantations or sorceries only. Those are always fun to watch and you can limit yourself to a specific type of spell or use everything to show how busted they can be. Love your vids and hope your channel grows more cause lvl of quality deserves it.

Anything you enjoy doing the most is what you should do. DLC is right around the corner and it makes sense to move on to that asap.

Didn’t expect Another Crab’s Treasure OST 😂 it’s a banger though. Also: Don’t count Rykard as a failure. His hit-box is so weird and wonky it’s a struggle to land consecutive hits up close even with swords, never mind a weapon with a narrow and inconsistent hitbox like whips. And the serpent’s constant retreat away just makes it way worse.

yeah man, whips are my favorite weapons to use in the game. very underrated imo. awesome vid man

Not really underrated. Lol. See them all the time in PvP -No blocking -No parrying -duo status -long range -instant jump attack hit Like they genuinely are one of the most broken weapons with no counters. I think the reason few people use them in PvE is because people tend to want to poise break or deal out heavy damage in 1 swing. Of which the whip isn't efficient at doing with Bosses.

Quick tip for future all rememberance runs: you can enter deeproot depths from a wall down in the frenzied flame area

My Man, the first whip is sooo good. It deals strike damage so it staggers relatively fast, with a good build and it is almost like a small mace with long ass range. The crouch light attack is quick as hell. It was very fun doing that run, just be prepared because is a long run compared to other weapons lmao. I'm still surprised on how many bosses I have killed like this. I do confess, I use a dagger for the crit dmg as that is the main disadvantage of whips.

Hi mate don't feel bad I just started a whip build and I'm shite, Just got the second pettle whip. I had thought to frost it up but thought go hard on bleed and you've convincec me to frost it

I just beat Malenia (no summons, beause I personally find the challenge of doing solo more enjoyable) for the first time, and elden ring is my only soulsborne game. I beat her with Hoslow's Petal Whip, it was *really* good against her. Allowed me to outspace her and get punishes in against attacks where my rolls often put me too far away from her (like the quick triple swipe). Out of all the weapons I tried against her, the attempt I tried the whip I got her down half in second phase. The combination of the range + quick recovery time of the whip made attacking very safe.

Urumi has a unique charge attack, but that's only really important I suppose for power stancing non-status ones.

My suggestion for the Rykard fight would be to try it with an Ironjar aromatic so that the lava doesn't keep poise breaking you

See I actually like whips… as my secondary weapon for dual wielding to catch things JUST out of range and build up status a LOT of enemies get too close for casting but stay JUST out of melee range so you can just SLAP them with a whip and they can do some GOOD stagger + horse combat reach

Im not sure if it would have worked to dual wield a cold whip with a fire one to proc frost more often. Anyway the magma whip is kinda strong. It's ash of war is strong if you manage to hit with it.

you have to use the given weapon surpent hunter or its near imposible

You cant face snake from the front, tou have to do the side or back and he will let you in close. It will do less damage than hitting the head but it works. Ive fought him a dozen of times this way and ut alyways works. The reason he backs off so much from the front is because they want you ti use the serpent hunter.

Nope. No crit attacks unfortunately. Best bet is to stun them, swap to a dagger(very high crit damage) crit attack, then switch back.

it would be cool if you could crit with them but they would need some kind of spike on the end to make it "legitimate" or atleast look the part

Can I ask why you have your estus flask on your pouch slot? Like I just want to know why you have to press three buttons to heal instead of just casually pressing one button. Is it personal preference or what like I genuinely it hurts my eyes😅

In my first run i did know about yhe serpent hunter and killed him with the great sword I didnt go to the lava i was wating for is bite attaks to hit is head
