My largest complaint with Dragon's Dogma 2 and it's predecessor, is just how often you need to use the wiki or youtube guides if you care at all about the story and hate missing out on content. Soulsborne games do this as well but Dragon's Dogma 2's Act 3 pissed me off beyond belief. I tried to go through it on my own like I do for most first playthroughs of any games I play but 3 hours in I found myself checking youtube guides more and more. By the end of my playthrough, I realized I missed a ton of content because I wasn't even aware of the Elven storyline, nor the Dwarf's. Needless to say, I took a months-long break and my 2nd and 3rd playthrough were much better.

I know the type of guys who say "you didn't play the game right" and to be clear I'm NOT one of them but they would probably say jumping strength builds are cheesy too.

Easiest build I played was a int build with night comet. Bosses were so easy and the dmg was super good. I normally just play strenght builds since launch.

It sucked. It was a complete failure. Around this time was another failure of a show they had on netflix where like...? they did deadly sins? they fuckin lost the plot. The show sucked hard, and dragons dogma 2 can suck the color out of a marble. And another huge failure is a lot of people bashing this game for obvious blunders like fps, n whatever fuckin anti priacy n cpu bullshit. What sucks is the failure to explain what an arisen is. In the first game the whole plot is established in the first cutscene. Now in DD2 with fresh eyes I'm told we just have a basement of arisen and maybe pawns and an arisen is at a hot springs eating rotten eggs?? How fucking many arisen are there why am I special? what does any of this mean? oh Through the main story I am told Arisen are kings here and we have to.... Oh I am fighting the dragon. Okay neat so is the dragon my?? noooo? okay who is? okay we are all tied to oblivion....? okay so who do I have to? So if I didn't know to use the sword in the menu like the first game how would anyone understand?? Okay who exactly is the drag....? And i am at the main menu and it's saying dragons dogma 2 now. Besides the pretty? this game is fucking horrible.

My first time playing was a strenght build two handing banished knights greatsword and i quit after finishing liurnia. Heavy armor greatsword dodge roll attack play style is really really hard to play.

Sure would love to know what happened with DD2. The drop off in Everything is so noticeable once you cross the border, something must have gone down at a key point in development. Games usually get rushed in the last third or so, but DD2 barely has a second or third act.

I was super disappointed with this game. It was largely just DD I, just... worse in almost every single aspect except the combat. It's fascinating how they didn't really improve on anything else, not exploration, not quest design, not RPG elements, nothing. One thing I absolutely hate is the vocation locked outfits.

This is the Dragon's dogma 2 video I've been waiting for. I've seen videos about gameplay, skills, enemies, loot, late game and all that, but the most important thing for me is the journey and the small things, the side quests and NPC's and the connection with your AI partner - the pawn. Thank you, this video absolutely nailed it. Also I shouldn't have cut those onions while watching this video 🥲 especially at the end 😁

The franchise has so much potential but Capcom treat it like a engine test for Monster Hunter, the director of the game also left Capcom recently 😢

Dragon's Dogma is literally a game where you have to be patient, strap in, and immerse yourself. You can't expect immediate gratification, it takes it time with everything and you have to find everything. From how to skills work and interact with things to all the game's mechanics, you need to be super attentive. But once you've leveled up your patience and insight, it honestly opens your mind to a lot of other games you probably wouldn't have considered.

That intro was literally insane, I was not expecting to have clips of the coolest moments in elden ring perfectly synced to music but holy shit man that editing was literally amazing.

Nah the game gets completely boring in the endgame and NG+ without mods is a joke and pointless. They will release a overpriced dlc in the future which will add nothing valuable in the end (like in Dragons Dogma 1). I mean we all know that Dragons Dogma 2 only exist to be a tech demo for MH Wilds.

TIP: if you lose all your hp in a fight quickly go in your inventory and use an item that heals you and you will not be died.😊 Note: sometimes it doesn’t work .😅
