Very Helpful. This was my first experience with CAD and Fusion 360. Loved it. Thank you.

With being nowhere, near as incredible talented at this style of work, thank you so much for sharing these tutorials on arcade building. There is so much work involved, and I am always amazed at how many amazing artists can demonstrate how these are made. It is but a dream to own one of these amazing machines. For now? I'll marvel at other people's work.

Thank you so much for this tutorial series! I need to make a new control panel for my DIY cab and was intending to use my local makerspace CNC router. This is gonna help a ton! Couple questions: -can you indicate depth with DXF so do your window inlay? -can CNC routers cut miter angles or do you do that after with a table saw?
@TheDanielSpies_Arcades11 ай бұрын
Hi, no I always make a ' pocket depth' information PDF that I used to send to my cnc operator. Now, I export the files as SVG directly to my CNC machine and that format includes depth information.

Tutorial finished! wow! this was truly amazing, your 20 minutes mark was a day for me lol, but after 4 days i learned a lot from you!, thank you so much Daniel i really enjoyed learning from you! the unique part i was not be able to do was to arrange, seems the free version won't let you arrange the panels anymore, they ask me for a subscription, but aside of that all works flawlesly!, again thank you!

Thanks! I will add a mention in the description that Arrange is now a paid feature. You can select the different sketches and export them to DXF manually in this case.

Thanks again Daniel. I've created my own cabinet by following all your steps in the video. I've used the free version of Fusion 360 for personal use. I am unable to export to pdf and also use the "Arrange" function. It says I need the paid version. But anyways. Thanks a lot for the tutorial.

Yes another comment also mentioned the Arrange feature not working. I will add this in the comments together with the PDF export. Thanks!

it's a bummer they removed Arrange from the free version :( probably one of the best functions for people with Lasers or cnc machines.
@retrolizardscustomarcades10 ай бұрын
Just an FYI, the free version does not allow arrange as an option. Purchase will be required to arrange or use envelope.

What I really despice about Autodesk is that their applications stop functioning after a new version came out. This is especially annoying when you are unable to update your OS and the new version requires this new OS. That's the reason I stopped using Autodesk software. Apart from that, great video.
