As soon as you used the mono filter the whole bottom end narrowed down to mono. Exactly what I'd want in a mastering chain. And that maximising limiter sounds like it saturates as well as clipping; it's a nice sound. It would be nice to have a separate saturation stage, and also a transient designer. But then it would be nice to see those in GB at the mixing stage. It's amazing how little money gets you something that sounds so professional.

This is great, Dan, thanks. Making FT produce listenable output is still very much a work in progress for me, and I got some good insights here. If you ever feel like doing another video on FT, maybe you could show off the module-specific presets. They're an interesting complement to the global presets.

I gave up on it quite some time ago as it was extremely unstable, unreliable and buggy. They must have fixed it in the meantime. Guess I'll reinstall and have another look.

I've given up on everything Positive Grid. There have been so many times they've screwed over their IOS purchasers for another few dollars of new IAP, or they've introduced new features/apps that end up being so buggy and unstable. They will not get another dime from me if I can help it.

@@Namelessforever_ iOS 16 caused big issues that have since been fixed. I’m using the Lurssen Mastering app now as a result but I just reloaded the new final touch that works. It is also a wonderful app for mastering too.👽✌️
