The iris has two surfaces and 4 layers . the layer froms anterior to posterior are namely the anterior limiting layer, the iris stroma, the anterior epithelium and the posterior pigmented epithelium

I've been taught that it is not actually the number of melanocytes, but the melanin concentration within the melanocytes, that differentiates brown and blue eyes. This video seems to contradict that?
